Unfortunately for us, there's a huge part of the community that CARES about rank. I really don't give a shit about rank or not, but since they went ahead and separated the stats into "Ranked" and "Unranked," it keeps me wanting to play Ranked games. The two things I wish we had most was custom ranked rooms and PASSWORD protected rooms

Actually it's not about going to gb, it's more about playing for money. Most clans on the 360 play in tournaments for money instead of for fun. There have been so many clans we've tried talking to on COD, trying to convince them to join UF and their first response will be, "What do we get for winning?" Sorry to say, but a congratulations and hug just don't cut it

That's why I'm saying to join a room that YOU prefer. If people make their own rooms and you look at the playlist and see extremely one-sided maps, you simply leave and check the next room. Just because people are creating one sided rooms doesn't mean you HAVE to join. And when I mentioned creating ranked rooms for the Trauma Ward, I wasn't talking about you creating it so that cBF always wins. I'm talking about creating the room with maps, restrictions and settings that YOU want and can enjoy.

The reason I don't like that idea is simple. There were to many out there that made ranked rooms where they were SO lopsided and that clan would stay on the easy side 100% of the time. They would make Enowapi breach with no nades or something like that. There was no chance for the Seals. IF they made it where you could make a ranked suppression or something where you could not change any of the other settings I would be fine with that. That's why you check the playlist when you enter a room. If you don't like the maps they put because it was too lopsided, then you leave and go find another room. Plus, I bet it would be enjoyable to have the Trauma Ward every week as a ranked room, the way YOU Want it

T You are absolutely right, I might just take the time top report all there asses before they ruin it for everyone,...The only problem is they will just make another name and do the same shit....It's unstopable. Now I don't know if this is rumor, but I heard that Sony can actually ban your entire PS3 from being used online. No matter how many different PSN ID's you make. Hopefully this is true. Well.. I don't know if the PS3 can, but I can tell you that if this was on the 360, it is true and those homos would never see the online world again

Dwight Howard would've won it again if he didn't try the dunk from the free throw line. What Nate did was badass, but Dwight's dunks last year + first this year were better than that.

Actually, if both moles are alive, the one who commits suicide's clan will win the round. ie. if it was RVN vs U, the mole kills all people on each team, leaving only the two moles, then the RVN mole runs and kills himself, RVN will win that round. I don't think it should end in a draw. Main point right here ^^The mole is supposed to help his team win. You say the point of the mole is to kill as many teammates as he can, but isn't that just helping his team win? I don't think its necessary to sit around for 6 minutes waiting for time to expire. -
Do you? As I recall you weren't playing much during S3. There is simply no comparision between the faults of Confrontation against the faults of any SOCOM game produced by Zipper. Zipper had minor faults that were corrected with patches, very few patches. How many patches has Confrontation had in it's first 6 months and more are still needed? And according to Slant 6, probably quite a few more. I think this discussion would be better timed once MAG is released. Then we can have a side by side comparision of how a game should be released and how a game shouldn't be released. Yeah, I guess you forgot that I played S3/CA for a year and a half non-stop, even when I was a POW, until UF went predominantly COD4. If you read what I said, I stated that when Zipper DID release their patches, they posted a huge list of fixes that needed to be fixed. They didn't come out with another update to give us more medals for single player. They would release a patch and fix a ton of issues that NEEDED to be fixed. And yes, CD, it was more about stats and glitching because all previous socom games never suffered from crazy harsh lag like Confrontation. The only big thing that would happen were the Server 9 or 39 (I forget) errors that would keep booting you off, and that didn't happen until after the map packs came out.

heh.... oh yea. good thing they didn't follow zipper's example. like put out a game that's not riddled with major defects. zipper did respond to the community, it's just that their games weren't so fouled up that zipper had to give daily briefs like slant 6 does to keep everyone on the hook until they finally get it right. And when they DID release patches, remember how HUGE the list of fixes was?

I actually don't get much lag. Any lag that I DO see is usually because of one matrix-style player who is lagging up or hosting the room.. beyond that, I have lag free games almost all of the time

I do, but I've also owned plenty of the games he's talked about and I know exactly where he's coming from. If he reviewed Journey, he wouldn't have enough diarrhea dumps in his ear to describe how bad it is

Aerosmith and Metallica can't be put into that category as they're just games where you play the music.. its Guitar Hero. We're talking about games where you PLAY the actual characters. Like in the Journey arcade game, you play as the actual band in space collecting instruments.... yeah.... BTW: Journey is possibly the worst celebrity based video game ever

For those who play L4D http://www.joystiq.com/2009/02/10/have-you-horde-survival-mode-to-make-waves-in-left-4-dead/ DLC coming in Spring - Survival Mode (waves and waves of enemies like the end of every chapter, comparable to Nazi Zombie mode but on a larger scale) - Versus Mode now playable in Death Toll and Dead Air so you don't always have to play the first 2 chapters every single time. - POSSIBLY new maps, but unannounced.
