Interesting. So basically he's in favor of college overtime rules where both teams get the chance to score, even if the other has already scored. I still would rather have the 11 rounds and finish it that way. I loved it that way because it gave home field advantage it's true meaning. Going into a war, you're expected to be on the weaker side of the map because its not your territory. I loved being on the "weaker" more disadvantaged side because it really emphasized the importance of working as a team and working to win. This is why I disagree with his position in the above post. He's suggesting there be two half-inning overtimes, basically giving each team a chance to win. My issue is that if we bring back the original TB rules and side switching (none), there is no point in having his idea. I would be VERY annoyed if I'm played Frostfire Demo Terrorists the whole map and then suddenly for one random ass half-inning overtime, I'm on the SEALs and I get fucked over and lose the map. I want the old TB rules with no side switching. We never had to guess who won a round. If we won, it's because we won 3-2 or 5-4. Not because it was 3-3 but we had 3 more hostage kills. If /6 released a patch today fixing the TB rules, I guarantee I would be on Socom about 40% more just because of that. I hate having to wonder sometimes and hate having to switch sides (even though it's "fair") -
I know this is about Max Payne 3, but I like how people are so stupid in thinking that Mark Wahlberg destroyed The Happening. There must be A LOT of M. Night Shyamalan fans out there.. which is weird because he's possibly the worst director alive

It's always better to be safe than sorry, ya know. I understand there are definitely a ton of the same clan names out there, but when they want to be dicks about things when all we did was show them our website, the best thing to do is be careful about it because you don't want your rep to be ruined because of some dicks.

Today, mikejaxon found the link to a clan named The Uprising who is another socom clan with the same name as ours. http://theuprisingu.proboards.com/index.cgi We're just telling you that if you see these guys, whose tags are [^U^] which are NOT our tags, don't think that it's us. We're not associated with them in any way and we don't want a bad reputation brewing because of some other random ass clan who has our name. These guys are obviously immature because after mikejaxon posted on their forums telling them of our clan and how we have the same name, his post was edited by the admin who began calling him gay and all that immature shit. Jaxon edited his post back, but their immaturity is very obvious. Just want everyone to know we're not associated with these random weirdos and our tag is [ U ]. Gracias!

Yeah I went through a small withdrawal phase for about 4 days back in Feb after the patch and didn't login for a few days. I almost killed myself when all my stats had reset randomly. It all came back though, yay

When was your last login before today? When you don't login for about 2-3 days, your stats will reset, but come back after a few games played

You do also have to admit that a lot of the MLB's best players ARE from other countries. People like Wright, Jeter/Rollins, and Pedroia are the best at their respective positions (given that Chase Utley is injured). But when you go any deeper than that, you can see that hispanic born players make up the bulk of the MLB's premiere players.

EVERY team could have better players. Ultimately, it's not the player's decision whether they get to play in the WBC or not. It's up the owners and the managers. Yes, some players do decide not to play in the WBC, but they've talked about a bunch of instances where the owner of a club told the player not to play in the WBC for risk of injury. Yes, there is winterball, but that's played in the Caribbean where you don't have to worry about cold weather. The WBC is played in spring in other countries and then in the USA. If you decide to play the WBC during winter in the USA, the results are going to be a lot worse.

Not really. The USA still has a very stacked lineup when you look at it. Plus, there's no other time when this can be played. There's no way you can play it before spring training because it would take place during winter, and everyone knows there's no way you're gonna have your players playing from February all the way until October. Just because there's no Lincecum doesn't mean that the USA has a weak team. The USA still has one of the powerhouse lineups, even if its not to the extent of DR or Venezuela. Jeter, Jones, Youkilis didn't go 0-9 because they suck. They went 0-9 because the Puerto Rican pitching has been the absolute best in the WBC, without question. Peavy, Oswalt and Lilly are all good pitchers, two of them being proven aces of staffs. They can win with that team, they just have to make the right pitches and moves. Today, Puerto Rico proved they were the better team and established themselves as a fierce team (even more than people thought after the first Pool)

Yes, it is. The fact that USA just got mercy'd against ANY team is a shocker. Plus, it just shows how underestimated the Puerto Rican team is. 34 innings only 1 earned run. USA just got a giant slap in the face by PR. Now they face elimination while PR goes to face Venezuela. GO PUERTO RICO! Boricua!

It's MGS2. Don't you ever speak of MGS3 that way! Snake Eater was straight ownage! And hell yes the Metal Gear games are good. For me, MGS is the greatest franchise ever. Every game owns. Personally, I don't think they're going to announce another game. I think it's just people being chatty wanting something to talk about. They've already announced that there will be a MGS game coming out for the iPhone at a later date. But I don't think they're going to release another for ps3

Slant Six.. think they're finally getting it right. The new patch has fixed that lag so much, it makes this game enjoyable to play. Even the random spawning doesn't kill the fun like other patches would destroy it. I'm looking forward to the next patch, whatever it may be. Just.. Oh and Irish, I love you so much for not being like the Killzone 2 whores and making 19 different topics
