IRISH BULL Posted January 22, 2010 Report Posted January 22, 2010 I lost mine. Where can I get more? Quote
GeneralSarcasm Posted January 23, 2010 Report Posted January 23, 2010 yea some type of rubber plumbing washer would prob do. bring your headset with you and see what fits. Quote
Directors John Posted January 23, 2010 Directors Report Directors Posted January 23, 2010 from the playstation forums_ While not the Actaul Earpiece for the Sony PS3 Bluetooth Headset, I use the Sony Earbud rubber peice (http://cgi.ebay.com/12-Pair-earbud-tips-Replacement-Sony-Skullcandy-V-Moda_W0QQitemZ180421272836QQcmdZViewItemQQptZOther_MP3_Playe r_Accessories?hash=item2a01f22504 ), invert them, cut out the little part thats meant for Earphones, and use the soft outer part and put that over speaker of the Headset, Its comes in many sizes, so its fits many ear sizes, quite comfortable, its snug so it doesnt fall off easly and you can buy them in bulk offline or even at local stores (Best-buys, Walmart, Walgreens) someone else also mentioned it came with a spare in the box Quote
Directors John Posted January 23, 2010 Directors Report Directors Posted January 23, 2010 I'll also mention that I saw quite a few official ps3 headsets on ebay selling for 15-30$ you might snag one cheap and might be the way to go Quote

IRISH BULL Posted February 27, 2010 Author Report Posted February 27, 2010 I'm still looking for anything on this subject. Rubber plumbers washers do not work. They are basically just rubber rings, no way to wrap around the PS3 ear piece. And the item from eBay has been removed. I'm getting desperate because its pretty painful without that black ring, and it doesn't sit right either. Quote
[SoW] Lucky_Saint- Posted February 27, 2010 Report Posted February 27, 2010 the rubbers do work take your headset with you find one slightly bigger then it needs to be and you trim off one side of the washer with a knife and melt it down a bit with a lighter i just did it last week was $4 total Quote
DK_Swine__ Posted March 5, 2010 Report Posted March 5, 2010 While we are at it... Anyone know where to get the ear hook thing? I need to replace mine bad. Quote
Prime-VR Posted March 5, 2010 Report Posted March 5, 2010 Let me look Irish. I will send you mine as I don't use that head set any more. I think I have a spare also. Not sure though. Otherwise did you check out Game stop and any other gaming store? Maybe even ask Forest. He might have a way to get them. I will pm you and let you know. Quote

Prime-VR Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 Irish. I looked EVERYWHERE for this. I couldn't find the headset or the extra ring. :-\ Sorry I couldn't help. Quote
SgtJoeFriday Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 I wanna say it was for the Jabra, but I got a pack of ear gels for a bluetooth headset. It came with 3 different sizes depending on your ear. Fits great and holds it better in my ear. Good enough so I don't actually need the arm that goes over the ear. Kinda like this... http://www.amazon.com/12-Pack-Premium-Eargels-Jawbone/dp/B0029IXGB6/ref=pd_bxgy_e_img_a You can get them at a cell phone store too. Quote
IRISH BULL Posted March 9, 2010 Author Report Posted March 9, 2010 Thanks anyway Prime. And thanks also Joe. I'll give that a try. Quote

SgtJoeFriday Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 and your point is? I should have PM'd that to Irish Bull. lol I DO clean it. But now I bought a Tritton so not an issue anymore lol Quote
meauxpack Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 The jabra eargels are the bee's knees. and they're super cheap. Buy two sets and you're set. I would wipe it down every once in a while and also take a paper clip and clean out the little "tunnel". Makes the sound quality so much better and its WAY more comfortable. Quote
Johnson30 Posted March 15, 2010 Report Posted March 15, 2010 I lost my ring also, and it hurts like hell without it. I will try that Jabra set. Quote
[-VR-] Tool_Minion Posted March 15, 2010 Report Posted March 15, 2010 Im tellin you, save your money and get a TRITTON!!! Quote
