Not even that, cause Jamal Charles will be our primary back....it's that they COULD get Thomas Jones, and have a decent back that compliments Charles...thus them both having above average seasons....but I know them well enough to say that won't happen.

They will sign Vargas as a third down back or goal line back, and Charles will get injured and Justin 'whogivesafuckwhoyouare' Vargas will be the Chiefs primary back after week 4. :'(

it seems to me tool has been scarred after many years of being a chiefs fan.

So are you excited Jim Sorgi is visiting the G-Men to back up Eli now?

excited isn't the word, but pleased is. he did a good job backing up Eli's older brosef, so i'm happy to see the Giants sign a quality backup.

i'm just curious, where did you hear this? i watch giants.com for announcements nonstop and haven't heard anything of the sort...

Haha gotta laugh at the Jets stupid move there. Congrats to KC on now having a dangerous duo. None of Thomas Jones's teammates have ever said a bad thing about him and all his former teammates in New York were pissed they released him. Look for him to teach young Charles a thing or two.

He bitched about his contract constantly. Whine whine whine. He's been having great years but he's also aged. He's one of the few RB's that got going after the 30 year old wall, so how much longer can he really do this?

Plus, with Leon Washington coming back into the picture next year and the emergence of Shonn Greene, the Jets will be fine. Shonn Greene is that powerback that Thomas Jones wasn't.

Also, the Jets have possibly the best O-Line in the league. That's why Jones was having good years. ;)

Churchy let's give Jones some credit. He was a solid back with subpar Bears O-Lines and a great locker room guy. He just isn't part of the youth movement that the Jets want, though Leon is getting up there now. Fun fact for the day, Leon Washington was part of UF Tac Map 1 champion Capital Punishment. This was while playing at FSU.
