We play volleyball on the beach from time to time. I actually only met him last year through friends, but he pretty cool.

 

He believes he should be either on this Sunday's episode or the following one, but here is a link to his profile:

He's under contract to not reveal to anyone how he did, so I'm eager to see the show.

What I DO know is that on the vball court, he can get frustrated pretty easily. I like to play into his head a lot. So I'm wondering if he's going to get frustrated at any point on the show as well.

 

Anyway.....there ya go.

Yes, I did try out, but at this point, I don't think I made the cut.

That's ok, though.

In hindsight, it might have worked out better for me, because if I DID go on there, I can only guess that you all would pull up screen shots of all my follies on the show and post them here on the forum! ;D

LOL...I just got done watching the episode and was quivering looking at some of those gladiators!

Holy shit!

 

Honestly, depending on the events, I think I would do "ok," (depending on who my competitor was, of course), but I tell ya, that Eliminator or whatever the final event is called....I think that would have done me in.

 

Kudos to those who finished.

 

And I was so let down tonight. I thought my friend would have been on it and felt so JIPPED that he wasn't yet! LOL

Ah well, Monday has an episode as well, so we'll see.

I did not care for the "New" Gladiator show much.

I felt it has changed too much for the worst. It seems so fake acting now. It has a pre-rehearsed feel to it for me. I honestly question out come of some of the things.

Naw, I don't think it's staged.

I think the competitions are real.

I know they ham up the speeches a lot, and I think the competitors do that at the producers' requests....but I think the actual competitions are real.

 

I don't see "fake" or "scripted" when I see that first girl on the first challenge twisting her knee and the Marine woman later on cutting her head open in the water, bleeding down her face.

Ok, I do think that stuff was real and the stuff producers want them to say is just for marketing but the girl that couldnt get up the last obstical and kept falling even though she had such a lead... She just laid there untill the other girl passed her and then she walked up the tredmill hill thing.....That to me seems so staged...she layed hanging onto it and kept looking back to see when the other girl would finally get there....wich was a while later....BOGUS! If not...that woman had no reason to be there.

But hey, any of us can be wrong.

I just take it for what it is at the end of the day, and i tuned in to be entertained.....and perhaps somewhat inspired.

 

I was both of those things by the end of the show, so it delivered for me.

the first girl particapated in all the events and the little asian girl didnt do the first obstacle so naturally she would have a little more energy.

 

i dont think it is staged i think some of the gladiators are fags dorks...the wolf dude looks pretty crazy ...and the pyrimid thing was real as shit.dudes getting tossed and then that little girl got dd-t'd on the king of the platform thing ...it was a little corny at some points.....i'll watch some tonight ..

 

but i laughed my ass off even when that girl buckled her knee(obviuosly she is fine )

and then the guy(gladiator dude) on the rings sucked and they said he injured his arm and he left.....lmfao.....
