bloodbath09 Posted May 30, 2012 Report Posted May 30, 2012 Well good thing I returned the ps2 and Socom CA I bought lol. At least they are keeping SoCon. I really enjoy that game. Quote
chiamira Posted May 31, 2012 Report Posted May 31, 2012 Yeah, This sucks, My theory is though... possibly that sony said ok... were gonna shut down the old servers to go ahead & create "Socom Legacy" That way we force all the guys playing Ps2 to buy Ps3 to play Socom online??? Why would they release a "Classic Socom" if there were still people playing on the old one? This way Sony makes the most money possible... which is right down there alley??? This is my Theory guys... only.. I really have no idea. Quote

CritiKiL Posted June 1, 2012 Report Posted June 1, 2012 To me, it looks like they're 'redirecting'. MW3 and now BF3 have Premium services (PAID), so I think they're going to try and re-invent the wheel ~ so to speak in order to come up with a paid service of their own of some sort. Quote
Outlaw__Rebel Posted June 1, 2012 Report Posted June 1, 2012 Socom 4 premium $9.99.... And most here would buy it. Quote
SgtJoeFriday Posted June 2, 2012 Report Posted June 2, 2012 Socom 4 premium $9.99....And most here would buy it. Nope but most would buy SOCOM legacy if it was an amalgamation of S2, S3 and CA. Forget Confrontation and S4. End of line. Quote
Directors John Posted June 2, 2012 Directors Report Directors Posted June 2, 2012 I'd definatly buy a HD PS3 version on S3, thats for sure Quote
Last- Posted June 4, 2012 Report Posted June 4, 2012 If you can make it so I can play a glitch free Socom 2 on my ps3 I'll pay what ever they want. Quote
Nemesis Posted June 5, 2012 Report Posted June 5, 2012 Not suprised. Same here, once they disbanded Zipper it was only a matter of time. Quote
