I think some people have either forgotten or were not here for the few times the socom servers went to hell on a UF war night- and the huge drama that followed. I agree that a cancel last night was a much better idea than any risky gamble against what was really going to happen to the PS N.

What is done is done but I would tend to agree that if read properly postponement was not needed. It is kind of like canceling a game in NY because it is raining in Cleveland. The store and PSN are two different entities and it did clearly say the PSN would still be up.

I agree with the decision 100%. Especially considering Sony's track record. Had the matches not been cancelled, then Sony would have had a problem and the whole psn would've been down.

 

Well using tge PS2 as a reference I would agree. BUT seeing that with the PS3 and PSN; when they have said the site will be down for maintenance and the PSN will still be up they have been spot on. This is with Sony, I am not talking about IW and/or Demonware or any other developer. With the PSN Sony has been right on the money with their calls and this has been since launch.

 

And you shouldn't apologize for me. I said nothing wrong, what I said was my opinion.

Well, there is a lot of information out there on the web these days and like any other situation people take information and pass it around and by the time it gets to the people that need to see it, the information is missing facts. I think the UF crew took what they had and made a decision. Whether I think it was right or wrong makes no difference. The thing I like most about the admins at this site is they rarely contradict each other and stand behind each others decisions. I feel that this type of leadership shows great team work and loyalty. I see no back stabbing each other or negative comments about each other. I am sure if they fell anything was done wrong , you can look for a more improved outcome next time (if needed).

Admins thanks for taking my criticism. I think you all do a great job.
