COWonCRACK Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 i had my ps3 in a dmz for the longest time and had it with a static ip. it seemed a bit better, but i still would get frozen or kicked or dropped. i think the majority is server side. although i havent done the UPnP yet. Quote

SHANE23 Posted January 25, 2009 Report Posted January 25, 2009 Seq, I SWEAR I forgot that was in there!! LOL I tried to make it generic, there are SO many different ways to set up your network and so many brands and firmwares it makes it hard to help everyone. I just wanted to get the main concepts and make it so you had an idea with images. I think the biggest thing that IT people forget or fail to setup properly is a router behind a DSL modem. If you have DSL you really need to learn why that it has to be setup properly and why that setup makes a difference. Thanks Goat. Seq has ANOTHER reason to hate me! LOL Quote
GOAT Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 LOL Got Mad/luv for both of you. p.s. here's a pencil I did a couple of years ago.. consider it a peace offering for Seq. Quote
SHANE23 Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Nice!! I just got back from Manhatten and was offering people beads but no one would take the offer! BASTARDS! Quote
dadedt05 Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 Seems that the servers are stuck sometimes and the best connection wont save you .. Quote
