Computer help.....omg...it's driving me flipping crazy!!!!!!

Ok, so my computer for a while now just won't load. I get to the screen where the wallpaper loads and then it will go to the logging off, saving settings, then it says loading your personal settings over and over and over. It just does this no matter what I do, I can't get into safe mode most I can do is load the system settings. Im trying to just get so I can load windows 7 release candidate on it and clear everything and start it over new. Any help I just need it to run while I save up for a new computer.

only question i got is. when you log onto it when it goes to the logging off setting does it log you off your computer or not. cause if it does then you have some sort of virus or viruses in your computer that are pretty much almost through your whole computer system and the only way to fix it is either new computer or see if someone can fix it.

As soon as the wallpaper loads then boom there it goes.

It only gets to the splash screen and reboots and you can't get to safe mode?

Its more then likely the Ram. Replace your ram stick and whalla..

But it sounds like you fucked up your registry...I mean it sucks to say...

 

Just wipe and re-install.. Hope you have some back ups.

Theres nothing I really on it, just all my gfx stuff is gone.

I plan on getting a mac but I need to save for it I just need the computer to work a little while longer.

Rooster what is your ram for? I am looking to upgrade to 4 gigs. ;D Is yours compatible with an HP Pavillion Dv6000?

Press the power button and start tapping the F2 key right away.. (on some its the Del key) this will put you into the bios. Check to make sure your ram is being recognized. and while you're in there make sure the Hard drive is correctly identified as well. If the memory is bad. Then that's where I'd start. If you can't boot up with a recovery disk or a windows CD then its hardware and not software.
