MAG Beta Download Live but very slow

Yeah that's what I thought to but the phase 1 testers have to download again. It's 2.66 GB.

Crusty is correct.. i too was in round 1.. and i am currently downloading the update.. 2.6 gb

This sux... i forgot that I have an auto shut down turned on, and since i did not show activity after 3 hours i have to start over

The last one was massive too. I managed to get that one at a rate of about 1 MB /sec and it took about 40 min. Is the new version going that fast?

Well it will probably depend on the time of day you download and your connection.

 

I am on a 5MB down and I'm at 70% after about 2 and a half hours. It was much faster for me the last time.

thats weird I am on it now and My download is only 33mb????

 

edit: ok now i am getting the 2 gig update lol... oh well.....it is downloading fast..... i alreayd am at 20 percent after 6 mins:)!

LOL that's my summary of how this download goes.

 

The bright side is I have mine downloaded and installed now.. Down side is it's just in time for the servers to be down.

man i didnt know you couldn't turn off the ps3 when it was doing the mag update i forgot to turn off the auto shutdown before i left for class.

So if you were in wave 1 of the private you have to redownload? Do I just start beta then it updates or do I have to redownload from the PSN Store?

Just fire up the beta like before. It will start installing all the stuff you need. Set some time aside. Mine has slowed to a crawl now that people are getting home from work/school.

That sucks that we still have to download the 2.6 GB if we were in Phase 1. I'll start it now and hopefully it will be done by morning.
