I'd have to say, to compare the two, Weiland is the better singer....wider range.....but Axl IS the better frontman in regards to stage presence and overall presentation and attitude.

I stopped looking forward to this album about 5 years ago....but will still get it when it comes out. I've downloaded the 6 or 7 new tracks that have been floating around the internet a while ago and, I have to say, they sounded really good. I liked them. "There was a time" I think is the name of the track, it's just a great sounding tune. I can't see Wal_mart doing an exclusive only because, don't they have something against carrying albums with Advisories on them? I can't see a GnR album WITHOUT one...LOL We'll see. I've certainly moved on to better bands....but I will always have a solid place in my heart for GnR. Velvet Revolver's been keeping me tided over VERY well in these last few years.

I started reading this thread from page 5 and worked my way backwards. I hadn't given this thread any thought until tonight, reading it for the first time. As I said...I was reading it backwards, and though I only got to the 3rd reply on the fourth page, this is literally the dumbest situational drama thread I've read in a long time. Now, if UF hadn't had its share of drama in the last week or month, then I say yeah, pull up a situation from a few tourneys ago and have at it! But we've HAD enough drama here even in the past WEEK. Go blow your drama loads on that, because this.....this is just INANE. I'm locking this thread. (And as for any type of insinuations up there that ANYONE in this community gets "special" treatment for whatever reason......go bark up another tree or go find a tourney that will treat you better. Seriously, I implore you. You owe it to yourself. Otherwise, get off the conspiracy theories. They're laughable at their very best.)

One of the things I told myself I have to own before I die is a Dobro guitar. I could sit and listen to that thing for an entire day and never get tired of it.

Nice post. I'll put there ticker up on the website to countdown the minutes before someone drops in to throw you in the "kneepad" bandwagon or asks you how the view is from your knees. I guess for some, it's the one-trick joke that keeps on giving. I seriously thought when I was reading your post with 3 replies behind it that ONE of them would be that type of post. But you're right, what's great about UF is that there is a LOT of good to be seen here...just not too many people take the time to recognize it. Way to give the shout outs.

Hopefully you'll have another video of you doing that in FRONT of the 5K people! Good luck, man. And don't worry about those who like to throw the barbs. I would say just rise above the stupid comments.......unless you didn't just earn your Agel 08 spot and someone on the inside just "gave" it to you instead of someone else because you were SUCH a good friend. SOCOM: Confrontation seems so far away, yet those weeks are going to slip by faster than you will think. In preparation for this, everyone here within the UF Community has a great opportunity here to experience the first Black tourney for Confrontation in a way we don't usually get to. New game = more level playing field. Lots of gunners here are very familiar with different maps, favorite locations and time coordination in relation to where their opponents may be in the opening seconds of a new round. To take advantage of this type of "alien" game play for all participants of the upcoming Black tourney, Urgent Fury will be launching SIGN-UPS for the first Black tourney for the PS3's SOCOM TWO WEEKS before the game's release. October 1st, sign-ups will be up for Black and will run for two weeks. There will be ONE week of prep and invites which will be the first week the game will be out. Come October 20th, the new Black WILL begin! Remember, sign-ups for the next TACMAP tourney for Urgent Fury, UF: Chain Reaction, will follow soon behind BUT you cannot sign your clan up for a TACMAP tourney unless you have successfully completed a Black tourney first (veteran clans who have already completed a Black tourney in the past are exempt from this requirement, though they are welcome to sign up for Black regardless). Starting the tourney within a week of the game's actual release will be a truly unique opportunity for a lot of clans here to pit their team play against other clans playing the exact same maps as early as you will be. ***Please also note, there will be some significant changes coming to the Black tourney. The "key" to get into a UF TACMAP tourney will be a little less easy to attain. We'll leave it at that for now. Confrontation's on its way and we here at Urgent Fury simply CANNOT wait! We're looking forward to seeing a LOT of old-school clans returning to full duty after this long SOCOM sabbatical. - TOW

Clan cBs> has been eliminated from the Riot Act tourney. They are the first of a strong final six to go, leaving 5 clans to battle it out in these final weeks of Riot Act. cBs>, nice work out there on the field in your very first TACMAP tourney. You took it further than a lot of veterans out there and you should be commended. Hope to see you in more tourneys.

Actually, if you wish to school someone, you should make sure you're a fit teacher. It shouldn't be two commas, but rather quotations. He means...."I'm going to have to stop by and contribute to the 'one-nighters you wish you didn't do' topic." Oh yeah....and a hyphen too. Ok, all done.

The two champions of Urgent Fury's RONIN tourney are now declared. In the SOCOM division, [LPK] COWonCRACK took it to the competition and went all the way to his copy of SOCOM: Confrontation. In the CoD4 division, [sHO] Carnage denied COWonCRACK a second overall championship by taking the win in the longer CoD4 bracket, winning his own copy of the upcoming SOCOM. Oh, the Midnight Mass lives on. It had nothing to do with Circles and 7 Rogues or anything like that.....it was just a great night. So the Mass carries over to Ravenfall all the same!
