I've been reading on the Playstation forums of people who had a successful install are now having problems as well. The "rumor" is that 2.40 works like a slow infecting virus and slowing bricks your PS3. Is there any validity to this rumor?? I figured with all the computer professionals here at UF, I would get a better answer. I was thinking of not turning my damn PS3 on until they get this issue resolved. I played a little GTA IV for about 30 minutes without any problems, but I don't know. I'm afraid of what I'll do if my PS3 bricks on me, my TV and my whole living room might be at risk from my out of control temper. lol

$4 per month. ($50 year) ;D I'm sure there are many instances in your own life that you would be absolutely pissed off if a company dissed you for a non customer. (your car insurance, cable/internet, etc..) Where in the world do you live that a company will help a non paying customer before a paying customer..!? You know what happens when you dont give priority to paying customers. FAIL. I hope you dont own your own business. lol You get what you pay for.. you guys paid the big bucks for a Blu-Ray player NOT a flawless gaming system. I totally agree. Its the old addage, "Money talks, and bullshit walks!" Its still disheartening to see a supposed "neutral" game company be so blatantly biased. They made the game for three platforms for god sake, its not Halo! On kinda the same subject of IW being a bag of dicks, is it usual for companies to sell updated content for online games? It just seems everytime you read about another game offering extra content, (i.e maps, guns, etc) its always free.

I don't believe you CAN play music from your files while you're playing ONLINE. I have not tried single player yet, though. Unless I'm not doing something I'm supposed to. The game designers have to patch existing games for that function to work. it has to be written into the code of the game. IW sounds like they will do nothing for Sony. They already made the statement that no patch was comming for the trophies. So one can assume that they will do nothing for the music. Hell we cant even get them to fix their shitty servers. so dont expect this any time soon. as for SOCOM it is already confirmed that these features will work. Yea, I just read that those douche bags at IW will not update for trophies, music, or rumble support. I bet if this had been MS updating their shit, IW would be all over it.

Yeah, no doubt. Well I hope they patch COD to work with trophies and music, etc. That would be awesome. I would love to play COD with Metallica's "One" playing through the game with all the sound effects.

Not to fault anyone, but why would anyone think this is a kids movie? Hell, the new Batman movie is technically about a "superhero" but I wouldn't take kids to see it.

I don't know if this is old news, but I just seen in a local Meijer store, PSN cards. They were on the shelf in $20 and $50 increments. Are they finally everywhere now?

Did they say in the tutorial vid that you would know immediately when you received a message?? Basically, will there be the same little box in the upper right corner saying "You received a message", while your still in the game??

That sucks, but that article says it might be delayed for improvements. I for one would rather wait another month for a better game.

No, it is considered part of the Chicago Forest Preserve. Different thing. I have already made the phone call and they verified. Alcohol is fine, just no glass containers. Aluminum cans only. Good thing Guinness already took care of that. SWEET!! You can say that again! If you can't get it from the tap, your better off with the can before the bottle.

I'm not a SOCOM vet like most of you, but will it really make a difference about the graphics? From what I've learned here is that everyone is a SOCOM fanantic and will play the new SOCOM no matter what. I might be so bold to say that if your in a clan that is part of Urgent Fury, you won't have a choice in the matter...either you play SOCOM: Confrontation or be left in the cold. Sony will probally see a jump in sales for the PS3 right before this game comes out.
