$48 per year. ($4 per month) or if you know someone who gets a discount at any place that sells the cards, GO THERE, you can get it cheaper, & that goes for M$ Points too.!! I have a friend who works for Barnes & Noble so he gets a 10% discount year round at Gamestop, but come holidays he gets 30% off..!! ;D (MS Points, XBLive, Games, etc.. everything except consoles/systems) I usually stock up on 4000 M$ point cards, normally $50, $35 with discount (i buy atleast one around the holidays, maybe two) Check with any of your friends to see who works for any company that you can get this stuff at a discount. It helps a lot especially when you are gonna buy multiple items, M$ points, XBLive, Games, etc.. (hell check with triple A "AAA")

Yea it was a little shaky yesterday, but i have no problems today. (i downloaded the NXE at about 3am) As far as Netflix, i dont think you have to DL the movies at all, i think it plays them straight from Netflix, just like it does on your PC. I do like the downloading of my games to HD tho.!!!

what exactly is "stand by"..? off, but with red light on.? I see that as being off. there is no movement inside, therefore it cant be using much energy. (like i said switched off or unplugged would be better, but not anywhere near as much of a difference as powering down, & being on.) or some other form of "on"..? like in screen saver mode.!? IF something else, I didn't know there were other modes..

Yea just power down.. No need to hit the switch, im sure the switch & unplugging it DOES help more, but i think as long as you power it down that is the main thing.!

Yea it is awesome.!! You know what i just thought of.. MS is better at software, & Sony is better at Hardware, so it only makes sense that Sony has a powerful machine with tons of capability (potential), but no software to make it all work right, smoothly together, & Xbox has this machine that had its hardware issues, but when it works it works like a charm. ;D
