1. First things first: PlayStation 4! E3 2013 is finished and behind us. Feels almost impossible. Between the PlayStation LiveCast, our explosive press conference, and the positively immense volume of posts we published this week, we’re ready to spend the next few days catching up on emails and planning even more PS.Blog content sleeping. Before we [...] More...
2. Following its debut at PlayStation’s February 20th event in New York City, DualShock 4 has emerged at E3 in near-final form. Though DualShock 3 has proven to be a capable and dependable wireless controller for years with PlayStation 3, the PS4’s new weapon of choice is clearly an improvement across the board. Here are some quick impressions. More...
3. Hello! I'm John, the game designer at Roll7. You may have seen a few snippets about OlliOlli already but as we approach E3 we wanted to go into a bit more depth about the game and let you know where the idea came from. More...
4. Since we announced Dragon Fantasy Book II on the Playstation.Blog back in August, we've had a very, very busy year. Our little 16-bit RPG that could has grown into quite a beefy project! Most of the game is now complete, with big chunks of the game tuned and fully playable. We've got some big ol' bosses in there ready to stomp on people. More...

6. Divekick's roster continues to grow, and each new challenger is even more insane than the last. Of course, we recommend that you learn how to play using one of the original eight characters, but don't let that stop you from trying out some of these advanced fighters. More...
7. In this most recent Watch_Dogs gameplay demo, we witnessed the wide variety of tools that Aiden has in his arsenal, all expressed through gameplay. More...

9. Hey there, Playstation fans. Lots of excitement in the air these days as this year's E3 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting yet. Not only did we get our first real look at the PlayStation 4 - I'm pre-ordering it already, myself - but Vita got its share of E3 love, too. KickBeat, for one, is playable in the Sony booth! More...
10. Adapting a console game for a mobile platform is no walk in the Welcome Park. The reasons for this are numerous, but it ultimately boils down to an issue of faithfulness. We can’t speak for other developers - though we imagine they would agree - but we wanted our game, BIT.TRIP Presents...Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien, to feel the same on the Vita as it does on the rest of its platforms. Furthermore, we wanted to provide players everywhere with the chance to carry Unkle Dill around wherever they go. Though we’ve not yet finished our development of the Vita version, we’re confident we’ve succeeded on both fronts. More...
11. It’s the Curve team here, bringing you news about Stealth Inc, the stealth-puzzle-platformer for PS3 and Vita that means to exterminate you at any cost. Taking control of one of PTi Industries’ many cloned test subjects, it’s your job to hack, leap and lurk your way through an enormous test facility, with only an assortment of disgruntled, laser-wielding security drones for company. More...
12. 1001 Spikes will likely be the most challenging game to come to the Vita this year. In developing the game, we looked to classic games such as the original 8-bit Spelunker and Hudson’s Famicom game Challenger as inspiration. Aside from utilizing a truly 8-bit art style, in developing 1001 Spikes, we’ve focused on making an incredibly difficult platformer with very precise controls requiring pixel-perfect inputs. More...

17. You are Arran Danner, a mercenary currently under contract to the ISA. Your mission is to infiltrate a battery of Arc cannons and direct their fire away from the ISA fleet, instead targeting the Helghast cruisers overhead and opening a way into the city. This is critical to enabling the invasion of Pyrrhus to begin in earnest. More...

21. You want to know more about Contrast, and I want to shed light on a few topics of my own. Did you know that Contrast, in its initial concept, was set in a cyberpunk virtual world? We thought that related well with the Film Noir and Burlesque eras, too. Have you heard tell of the international slumber party work week before Compulsion found an office? When we started working on the game, the team was spread out across four continents! More...
