I'm in the same boat as most of these replies. She has shows I refuse to watch, so I play on those nights. Weekends just depend on what's going on, but we watch a few movies every weekend, and hang out during the day Saturdays. Sometimes, she will sit next to me plaing on her laptop while I play. She didn't used to, but the proxy chat makes her giggle, so she sits out with me fairly often. It helps that she gets just about whatever she wants. Especially with the house. The deck she wants me to build this summer should buy me alot of clan time. ;D Since I'm a huge football junkie, Sundays are my day to do whatver, year round. -
What a jip. It's a cool idea, but honest gamers aren't going to have a chance.

I have no genesis anymore but I have a game! I have the spiderman Maximum Carnage. It's part of a box set with a leatherbound graphic novel of that story arc. ;D

Very nicely stated. *insert clapping smiley here* I have personally had more problems with my ps3, so I'm not sold on the durability of either machine. :-\ p.s. Sniper, us smiley whores need more smiley's. Not a crazy amount like some places, but a few wouldn't hurt. ;D

If that is your arument, then a huge percentage of artists, especially in the last 20 years, has had the same treatment. At least the ones that went on to become "radio" stars. HE has marketed HIMSELF. Yep, he caught a break and got hooked up with the greatest producer in the rap biz. So did loads of other guys. He knew he could push the "thug" gimmick better than anyone else because of the shooting. I'm sure he also knew he could do whatever music he wanted and still maintain that image. SO now he could make all this pop rap, like Candy shop, and the g's and wanna be's would still buy and rock his shit. How else could a guy with good story, but no real music talent have made it so far and so big? Time has shown again and again, that just because you have a musical god backing you, you aren't guarantee'd fame. He's made good decisions that have kept his name in the spotlight. It doesn't matter who pitched him the idea, an agent, a salesman, whoever, he still got to say yes or no. Like I said, the guy knows how to market himself. His story. Only 2 songs of his are even bearable, but I gotta give it to him.

However, I have read a few interviews with him and watched a few. The guy is a smart mofo. He definately knows how to market whatever it is he's doing. I gotta give it to a guy that has gotten to where he is, when he came from nothing. You have to remember, in the beginning, he had no agent, it was all him. I'm sure alot of it still is him. His music is average at best, yet he is one of the most known rappers on the planet. That doesn't happen if you are an idiot. P-Diddy is the same way. His music suuuuucks, but look at what he's built himself into. Granted Biggie made him, but he's taken it way beyond what anyone thought he would.

OOOOHHH. I always forget about the pressure sensitive controllers. I guess I take them for granted. ;D Being able to control your throttle with a controller on racing games is sick.

Honestly Prime, I still play my PS3 more, just because of Socom. If our clan was partially inactive like it was on S3/CA, then I would go back to playing x-box all the time like I did then. I only played in those days when someone called me to play or we had a war. Games play sooo much smoother on X-box. The graphics aren't as shiny, but I don't play games for pretty pictures. I played GTA4 on both systems before I bought it, and the gameplay was hands down better on X-Box. Same with sports games. Especially with racing games. I played Nascar 08 on ps3 for a week and took it back. Cars disappearing and teleporting all over was not fun. I'm a car guy and racing games tickle my taint, so that alone would be enough for me. Add on the fact that MS spends the money we pay for service on things that matter, to me it's a no-brainer. Exclusive DLC on Multi-platform. Paying people to "police" games for cheaters. Setting up sweet partnerships with other companies, like Netflix(sweet as hell for me, we use NF alot). Now Gaylo can't be included in any comparisons, because it is full of kids and people get banned daily for cheating on that game. The only thing missing from the X-box line-up is Socom. If it went Multi-platform, I'd try to convice the whole clan to switch over. Then I could move the PS3 into the bedroom for BR viewing. With the recent price drop, there isn't any reason to stay on the fence. The overall online game experience on x-box's worst game is much, much better than anything on PS3.

OMG, I hurt the poor little kids feelers. I didn't give up on PS because Socom failed. I gave up because SONY failed. Period. Not one of the games that I play released without a hitch. Not one. There is a reason that almost every single PS3 game I've bought has been returned except for 2. Technically Fallout doesn't even count in my eyes. I bought it AFTER they had to patch the damn thing. I like my fucking potty mouth. The video I watched earlier told me to use FUCK as much as I can, and I'm more than happy to oblige. It is my favorite word and activity after all. If you "don't hate X-box", then why are virtually all your posts here bashing it? How's that "respecting" the boards? p.s. Get the fuck outta here with that bullshit.
