@ willy - Up on the d-pad is for the team mic. The open mic is a proximity mic only. (I think this is how it works, please correct me if I'm wrong.) Something that I noticed the other day is that you don't have a penalty for team kills or suicides in suppression which is stupid. LPK was in a friendly clan match when the other team had a team kill, well in the end it was 1v1, but since they had a team kill, we only killed 3 of them so the score for the round was 4-3, and we lost the round. The war ended in a tie because they got that cheap victory instead of another draw, which would have given us the 5-4 victory. This scoring needs to be fixed but a simple -1 for team kills or suicides to make the wars fair.

The one problem with all this is that they are marketing the game to the general public, not the socom community. It's all about money these days, not another socom will be as good as the 2nd one. It took me a very long time to see this which is why I hated #3 and confrontation. I like this one so far, but another thing is that it is only a beta, the actual game isn' even out yet. So little things like the control settings, or maybe even lobbies aren't out yet because they are more concerned with the gameplay aspect and not the UI/menus...
