I like where Hippi is going mainly because I was thinking the same thing, she just beat me to it. =P My thoughts on the ban length is not a length of time but maybe a number of tournaments...Also, my only concern for the future, that I don't believe was mentioned yet, was how it was brought to light to the rest of the UF community outside the CR section. Most of us, outside the CRs, had no idea there was even an issue and the first we hear about it was the ruling, without any details. Anyways, I'm not going to beat this poor dead horse anymore, just my thoughts... Lastly, thanks for the post bandit. That clears a lot of things up. I look forward to seeing UF recover and thrive like it once did!!

I think that the camera distance is good when you're spectating someone while dead, but then it zooms in when alive again.. they should keep it zoomed out.

After playing respawn and classic I was rather impressed with classic, while hating the ground respawn walks on... (Ironically they walk on the same ground but you get my point...hopefully)

Sounds like a good start bro. You'll need to increase your numbers to about 10 to just have a chance here at UF, but like I said good start. Hope to see ya on the battlefield soon!!

Yes no respawn ever!!! And to touch on your point about no boom, I think it was implemented because it forces people to shoot each other, which will showcase their skills. It's easy to toss a grenade over a building in the beginning of a round and get a kill. However with S4 I feel the grenades are a lot harder to control then they used to be so maybe it's something that can be revisited. I still think Black should be no boom just based on tradition tho...

Sidious I agree that people need to stop comparing Socom to CoD because there is only so much you can do with a military shooter. But people are mad at socom because S1 and 2 were not a very big game, but they created a cult like following and that's the only thing that kept Zipper afloat, but every socom since S2 has been a downgrade from the previous one. S3 wasn't as good as S2 but better then confrontation and so on. So they should be listening to their very loyal community because lets face it, without such a loyal community following socom 2, there would be no more zipper. Socom 2 is like the show Firefly, but zipper has yet to give us a Serenity!!

Everyone keeps saying Tool was done wrong, but there is one thing no one has said to him yet... Thanks for your years of dedication to UF tool. Sad to see you go!!! This goes for Hippi and anyone else who may have left UF in the past couple days that I have missed...

Typhx that was not really necessary. We don't need to add more fuel to an already plenty big forest fire. All I was say is why are we having this conversation if we didn't know the whole story from the beginning?? Presenting "evidence" when people minds are made up is kinda pointless. Anyways, I've said what I needed to say. I've probably made it worse and for that I'm sorry, but I'm going to go shoot some bitches online then go to bed and try to forget this night. -
I remember now... Socom 2 had friendly fire rooms and non-friendly fire rooms. LPK always played with friendly fire and you must have too.

The big thing that bothers me with this whole situation is that everyone keeps mentioning "winning with honor." That's one of the reasons LPK has been here for so long. But doesn't honor coincide with some sense of trust and believing one another? Everyone messes up and no ones perfect, but when it happens in UF more often then not, it's deemed dishonorable and cheating. I may be in the minority here, but I don't feel that AieL cheated because cheating implies they did it on purpose. I think AieL made a bad judgement that led to a rule being broken and I feel they should be punished for the rule being broken, which they are. I'm also not looking down on those clans that are choosing to no longer play here, they will do what they want. It just saddens me and make me mad that the UF community thins over a misunderstanding as simple as this. That's why I'm pissed and I apologize if I came of as a little bitch myself... -

How about everyone stop bitching? Shane and John made a decision and that's final. You guy should be thankful that they took over UF and kept it going. Tow and sniper could have easily quit UF and we'd all be stuck with GB. You can't please everyone and now that there is one decision that is not liked everyone whines and runs for the hills. For fucks sake, last time I checked honorable people don't bitch, they go about their business. So if you're going to leave UF then just leave, you don't need to make a post and make a big scene about it. If you don't like what happened just stfu and gtfo!!! And STR8_HATE, you're a UF Ranger, why are you posting on every thread about this, just prolonging the incedent? Aren't you supposed to represent UF??
