At least they are supposedly putting one in. They could be like other game developers and say "fuck the community, we're doing things our way". So even though it's super annoying and a party system is a no brainer to include, I give them props for actually listening to their community.

I only see it on about half of the 101 guys and I saw it on a couple of Uprisings tags when they were here too. I don't see it on LPK tho. Maybe some people don't have wide screen so they enter it to look good on their screen, which messes it up for us who do have wide screen??? I dunno, just a thought.

So I'm dumb... I guess Abandoned isn't part of Socom pro. The code for Abandoned in on the Gamestop receipt. So for other dumbies out there like me, there ya go!! BTW, for all you procrastinators out there, you're Socom Pro code expires on April 19th, so enter it ASAP!!

Ok, so it's only 1 hour and 20 minutes old but I already have a problem and I'm wondering if anyone else has ran into the same thing. I entered the Socom pro code, followed all the instructions but when I go to the game I can't access Abandoned. I tried entering the code again thinking maybe it didn't go through. Says it's invalid now. When I go to account management -> transaction management -> Services list, I can see socom pro but still nothing. I'm going to contact the 800 number in the morning, but I'm just wondering if the same thing is happening to others and it's maybe the servers and not me.

I don't know how your Gamestops do it, but at mine, if you pay ahead of time. Just go in early on the day of the midnight release and get a sticker. With that sticker you get to skip the line. I got Black Ops at midnight and was at Gamestop about 5 minutes. -
Not to rub it in but it's a nice day in the upper 60s here. Might be a little cold for midnight tonight, but no snow or rain.

I have turtle beaches, but I feel ya there. I can't play without them. It's crazy how much noise is in socom and you can tell when people don't have headphones. It's funny when they get knifed from behind when you heard the other person like 20 seconds before. -
I used to be one of those people that wanted S2 back and hated S3 and confrontation, but this game has changed my mind. Classic mode actually feels like a socom to me and I like it. I'm looking forward to the single player and the new maps. I think if confrontation had a single player it would have been more liked, at least I would have liked it too. The only thing I want to see from the older game are the maps. Socom 2 had really good maps. I think one of the reason socom 2 was liked so much was that there were so many maps and play modes. CoD only has about 9 maps on release and adds 3-4 per map pack. Averaging 2 map packs, thats about 18 maps at most by the time the next CoD is out. Socom 2 had 22 maps. That's rediculous. I digress, but I tend to do that when I get going about Socom 2. Bottom line, I'm excited for this game, and I think more people are excited than let on.

I couldn't be happier! But on another note, anyone see the White Sox blow the game vs. my boys today?? We got 3 in the 9th and 10th to win 7-4. Woot!
