You are right on there. The lag isn't that bad, there are just some very strange things happening. Like what shane said, I apparently have no clan anymore. I'm tagless. Any takers? ;D Plus the features that are working that they did add, are fooooking cooool. Granted they should have been there since release, but fuck i looove them. Sorting the servers alphabetically? Weeeee. Diving to prone? SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK. They missed some minor things, but the game itself seems to be smoother. I had the same issue with the clan tag not being there and I just went into the clan option and it said something about loading the player list (which it never did) so I just hit circle and went back to the game I was playing in and boom the tag was there. and I did see some lag when I was playing but it wasnt anything new to socom.

I wont let server lag discourage me cause this kind of shit has happened on the first few days of every patch that has come out so far, It will be fine I will give it a day or so, gonna see for myself how bad the lag is I just finished the download now.

Rather then a wheel why the hell wouldnt they make it so what you say into a mic is what is typed in your program, hell using that stupid wheel to type in a song to find on my IPOD is a pain in the ass, I wouldn't buy one of those.

x2!! i play all of the ace combat series. best series ever. god i wish they were online. I beleive that ace combat 6 is online it is just to bad that is an XBOX only game, that has got to my favorite game out of the series, and also the only reason I would turn on an XBOX. I hate that its on bitchbox they don't deserve it, damn why do inferior gamers get online ace combat, they lack the skill to truly play that game. I would have loved to see this game on the PS3 I hope the next one that they make will be on the PS3. but like I said as much as I hate the XBOX I will turn it on to play ace combat 6,

Pot head for sure, Drinking here is too expensive and it doesn't taste that great plus I can still drive after smoking a joint I cant do that if I drink. I know they have tests to tell if you are high on weed or not but I have been pulled over by cops higher than a kite and the only thing that they said to me is "change your brake lights one of them is out".

Yes chilli very very true every company has their flaws with their products, some more than others, all I am saying is that personally I have not had any issues with a piece of sony's products so i cant say anything bad about them sony's shit may stink but not to me it smells like a nice big bag of NYC desiel (mmmmmm weed). and yes lots of people bought those ugly gremlins, but we cant forget about the pacer. lol. but when it comes right down to products unless you are both fans of some sort of product you wont agree with it unless you just like everything. There is only one thing with the PS3 that I would change and that is putting my own music behind games and if you can do this on the PS3 I just dont know how to do it.

and you dont want to say anything bad about Microsoft there Chilli so getting on my case about this is a little stupid and it also makes you a "fanboy" (fuck I hate that term so stupid). and my opinion about microsoft has always been the same, if i could have afforded to buy a Mac I would have but instead I have a PC loaded with the crap that dell sent to me by Microsoft and I hate it, the only useful thing by microsoft is Excel. Oh and by the way did you by chance hear about the major flaw in IE the other day in the news, I cant remember all the details but the jist of it was people explioting a small security feature in IE and hijacking your computer. This was something very new to MS but they had it fixed in 8 days. so really Microsofts issues are not just with the XBOX now this is something that I skimmed through while at work so there is probably things that i completely missed. I dont like to use microsoft but I kind of have no choice cause i am not a rich guy. and Honestly if I had a peice of shit product from sony I would stop buying sony but that has never ever happened so why would I turn from a reliable company? I know that just because i dont have any issues with it doesnt mean that someone else did. that is why I say this is all based on PERSONAL experience. so here is my point chili if the above quote is accurate (I dont have time to look into this at work) sony has a 3% failure rate and XBOX 43% failure rate how can you possibly back a product like that?

That is my only problem with your statements Cyn. You are singling out MS for this crap, when it is damn near EVERY major corporation. Sony is JUST as guilty as MS in this regard. The fact that all these corps only stand behind their product as minimally as they have to says alot about our society these days. I do loads of warranty work on stuff out of warranty for my customers and they are completely floored by it. It's because nobody does that anymore and we look like saints for doing the right thing. Yes I agree with you Money, Yes all corporations are money grubing whores but some put a product out that is very well built with few issues, That really is all I am saying. Myself I hate corpoations they have fucked this world so badly just look at the economy right now all because of greedy corporate bastards. I dont mention sony's products because I have yet to purchase something from them that has failed on me.

I had a original PS2 for 7 years and didnt replace it I bought a new one cause I thought it was fucked but like I already said as it turned out it was a power cord. and I am not going to sit here and say I know everything about video game systems and video games in general because I dont, I just can say this is what problems I didnt have and I can leave it at that. I think Microsoft is nothing but a money grubing company that doesn't give two shits about the people that got them where they are and that is us the consumer. No I donot have either system there Rooster, but that doesnt mean that I know nothing, however my roommate has both so I can play either one whenever I want I have tried them both. say someone doesnt have a rolls royce but they know everything about them does that mean they cant have a opinion just because they dont have one? and the comparison with the tires is just a retarded one, it would be like saying the car company not telling you that the "E" on the gas gauge means empty and you should fill it up.

ok maybe so but how do you explain the older PS2's being able to be tilt from lying down to standing up. when it comes right down to it Sony produces a better product. Microsoft IMO doesn't care about quality as much. as far as instructions go really who reads them. I know I havn't read the instruction book on anything I have bought unless I have to put it together. I've dropped my iPhone a dozen times and it still works. Does that mean it's made to be dropped? Just because moving it while the disk is spinning hasn't ruined a game yet, doesn't mean it's designed that way. No they dont Squid but they make them to be durable in case shit like that happens. some shit is made with quality and some shit is not. I am an XBOX hater so I wont give them any credit. so really my opinion is biased. mostly cause I have not had one Sony product that was crap. Curious. You only owned 1 ps2 from the day of release until the day you got rid of it? I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm just asking. I personally had 1 xbox fail and 1 360 fail. Both were fixed for free. Now I had 3 original ps2's fail and 1 slim ps2. My damn ps1 was the only one that never shit the bed!! I always keep my stuff well ventilated, it's always dusted a few times a week. I'm pretty anal about the upkeep of all my electronics so it wasn't abuse at anytime. Now I've seen quite a few people here have hardware failures with a ps3 and they had to pay to get it fixed. :-\ ps. The only nintendo product that failed was the original, but we all knew to fix that you just pushed the game over to one side before you clicked it down. ;D I had the fat PS2 until I replaced it cause I thought it was fucked but it turned out to be my power cord. I dont have a PS3 yet I just use my roommates. I also agree with you that Nintendo make a near flawless system it is just to bad that most of the games that they have are kid oreinted. Prane I think you need a new phrase "fanboy" In my opinion is a little bit of a gay name for some one who likes a product over another, why would I be a fan of a system that wouldn't even tell the public about something that they made has potential to damage things that are meant to be used with it regardless of the fact if you tip it to one side or another. also wont even spend the 50 cents to fix the issue before the public buys it. That sounds a little stupid to me. and again this is just my opinion and it doesn't make me a fanboy, I buy quality things cause I work hard for my money and I'll be damned if I just hand it over to a corporation who wont even provide me with a quality product, saying that is something that is all in the opinions of different people.

ok this example has nothing to do with a video game system but I had a sony discman and I dropped the mother fucker so many time while listening to CD's now granted the disc isn't spinning at the RPM's a XBOX game would but it still spins and has moving parts around it not once have I ever scratched a CD from listening to it, I would even move my PS2 around while it was reading a game and nothing happened. It doesnt matter if the customer is "smart" or not you make a product you stand behind your product and you don't cheap out on something cause it costs 50 cents a console. so in no way would I ever blame this on the customer it is exbox's fault not the consumer.

I have said this on the 503 forums and I will say it here, If it really was such a big issue with all of these functions that were not on the game that were advertised on the box why don't people stop bitching and just sue them for false advertisement. and the analogy with a car not having doors I see what you are saying but you cant compare a car with a video game there is over 10000 dollar difference on the two.
