Has officially opted out of his contract with the yanks. He would've earned 81 million over the next 3 years and was offered an extension around 5 years, 30 mill/year.

It's sad to think that A-Rod is going to be the only of the greatest players ever to never have a team put next to his name. So far he's had an awesome career but he's never had that one team presence where you can put his name next to that team.
