I remember all those things back in the day....LOL we had to use our imagination to have fun, we didn't have all these gadgets and gismos. All I had was my Green machine and a side walk to ride it on. Then they banned all the real looking plastic guns from kids because cops couldn't tell the difference. Now there freaking yellow and red.

Hey it’s cool Fury, my boy is only 14 and he plays Socom… from time to time… but only for his old man.. he would rather play WOW or something. And it’s not like that’s all he does,, there’s Tae Kwon Do practice, Drums practice, He’s a darn good wide receiver on his football team, A long distance runner for track, and an star soccer player. So if he wants to spend his free time playing video games it’s fine by me.. Heck when I was a kid I remember getting home from school, hoping on the bicycle and my parents wouldn’t see me till the street lights came on and they didn’t worry a bit.… nowadays if one of my kids gets out of sight of the house I FREAK OUT!! Different times I guess…

 

I’m never concerned with the age of a player on Socom, old or young makes little difference, it’s all about respect for other players and having honor. With the kind of folks in your clan like Havoc and others you got a great group of role models.

 

p.s. Don’t pay any attention to that PrimeMeathead… he’s just jealous… LOL!

When I was 16 it was about hanging with the friends. At night hitn the strip and finding the bigest parties on a weekday and having enough energy to hit the spots on Friday and Saturday.... When Sunday rolled around- Tuned the cars, brought the girls over to wash them- for racing that night.

 

Do it while you can my friend! Take it from an old man who had too much fun- You will generally never look back on good times you had and say "man I wish I didnt do that" when your old. You may however look back and say "Shit I wish I would have done that when I was a kid" There are no time machines to go back and try it over. To be honest here- Socom is nothing to tell the grandkids. lol
