I see all this countdown stuff, and people talking about how awsome it will be. I know I am a bit out of the loop anyway, but I must be WAAAAY out. What is this????

Its a virtual world for the PS3 (the easy answer). You will get a aviator (like a MII) and you can travel around this virtual world to view streaming advertisements (movie clips game demo vids). They have also said publishers will have store areas that they can customize. It will include some casual games in it and possible more available to buy later (so far I've seen pool tables and a bowling alley). Every player will also have their home where they can show off their own customized area.
