I thought we'd all be staying at Tow's? ;D

 

LOL.....I can put up about 30-40 of you, but you're sleeping elbow to elbow. LOL

 

as long as everyone is cool that I sleep naked and watch a porno everynight then I'm cool with that. :D :D

 

So if u woke up with Vaseline in ur booty would it have been the guy to the right or left of u and would u tell anyone about that? :-*

Well, I have tried, unsuccessfully, to try and obtain an account for this website so that I can further check into the specifics of this event. Once last week and again about 10 mins ago.

Neither time supplied me with a confirmation email, and I checked the spam folder as well.

 

Anyone else attempt to get an account for this site, and if so, how did it go?

A block of rooms has been negotiated by 2old2play at a discounted rate of $104/night at the Chicago Marriott O'Hare. To check out the accommodations, visit http://www.marriott.com. The discounted rate of $104/night is available until July 23rd and includes single, double, and triple occupancy. After 5 pm on the cut-off date, the hotel will release these rooms and the rate will increase! Make your hotel reservations now! Your credit card will be used as a guarantee to confirm your room reservation and will not be charged until checkout; however, should you cancel your reservation less than 72 hours prior to arrival, you will be charged one night room and tax. $75-$95 bucks to attend?

I don't know of a whole lot of people that would (or are able to) fork over that kind of cash for three days of LAN stuff.

 

I've been to that hotel before for comic conventions and such...it's not THAT big (though it's been years and things may have changed since then) and even then, comic conventions usually ran only $30 or so for three day passes.

 

Y'see....Sniper and I were thinking of a simpler way to just have a get-together with some players of UF who would want to meet the two of us and one another. A simple bar or outdoor area would work just fine, y'know?

 

Well, we'll keep this under consideration, but I don't think that would drum up too many people.

Especially because around the same time, we'll have our APC 3-day weekend where APCers fly and drive in, and with the expenses we use for three days worth of sightseeing, drinking and hanging out, I don't think anyone would be up for an additional $75-$95 bucks to attend this thing ALL three days.

Maybe just try to "crash it" as part of the UF agenda. ;D
