Call Of Duty 4 help.

Ok, i put my disc in and everything works fine. As soon as i get online, i join a party and i can't talk. I can hear though. As soon as i try to join a match to play, it says ethernet cord is unplugged and it boots me off. I can log into socom just fine though and play with out a problem. Any idea why it would be like that?

Check the disc and reset your ps3s connection then check ill go see if its not the server.

i have done that. servers are fine....My buddy's played all night, i just couldn't stay connected.

I just played a games theres a bit lag but I stayed connected. Have you tried switching your eithernet cable? Try reversing it.

yeah i don't know...its just that game, i can play grand trismo online just fine. Its irritating, i don't play cod that much, but when i do i want to actually play. lol

Lol I'm bored with CoD4 already I can't find a good challenge at all in it I play everything I even finished half of the challenges and am at the 9th prestige(stopping at 9 cuz the gold cross looks gay.) I'm even in the top 5,000 with kills. I'm not gonna play it today I did beat assassins creed today and the ending ended in mysterious to be continued format so now i'm expecting a #2 coming soon.

Are you using a router? if you are there is a good chance that you need to open the COD4 ports and possibly the PS3 ports.If you're not using a router im guessing your ps3 hates COD4 or something lol.

Do the internet connection test and see what nat type you have. Sometimes the voice shat stuff doesnt work when it's a 3.

Why do you need subtitles the voice acting is perfect.
