that kid was held back a year or two just so that he would be bigger than his peers, most sports crazy parents do this so that their kid has an advantage

He's not going to play at UK until after high school is behind him. They have just offered him a full scholarship and he has submitted his letter of intent. The kid is still 4 years away from playing at Kentucky.

I just worded it the way I did to see how many people really didn't read the story and respond with, "holy shit he's 8th grade and on the team?!!"
