I am of the opinion that since the graphics are better than the previous games and we get new features, and Socom 1 gameplay, uber leet graphics are irrelevant. What do you think?

Well I mean "up to par" just means as good as the rest, it doesn't mean the best ever....so I would say "up to par" is a yes

In this day and age i think the money i forked out for all this crap, all graphics should be sweet. There's no excuse for not.

its an online only, so i mean graphics up to par would be just perfect, i dont want to have a game that looks like a ps2 game running without HD. i think that if cod4 didnt have good graphics, not that many ppeople would play it.

Totally! No one is saying they have the best graphics out there, but I expect them to have graphics at least as good as COD4. Graphics now, not game play. I think this game is probally going to be one of the best online shooters out there. No one will pick up COD4 on the PS3 after this game comes out.

Totally! No one is saying they have the best graphics out there, but I expect them to have graphics at least as good as COD4. Graphics now, not game play. I think this game is probally going to be one of the best online shooters out there. No one will pick up COD4 on the PS3 after this game comes out.

Graphics are important. For the type of technology that we have today, anything less than "sub-par" is inexcusable...

Well, I'm writing you all down in my books. When it comes out, I'm taking note of how many stop playing if the graphics look how they look now. ;D

 

From the Gameplay video, they look jsut as good as COD already. A few render blunders maybe, but that's it.

In the official trailer, the players look like they are skating on ice. I was NOT impressed by that at all. But I know its in alpha build, so I assume things will get a lot smoother. BETTER!
