Will Ravenfall still be associated with UF? Is UF the only tourney RVN will be playing in still? Any changes with RVN?

 

And please let me clarify here that the only association my clan has with this tourney is that they PLAY in it.

Ravenfall and UF have never been associated hand-in-hand in any administrative capacity before.

But yes, Ravenfall will continue to play in UF and NO WHERE ELSE. Why would we...? LOL, this is UF!

 

And I'm not sure what this has to do with the transfer of UF to new owners, but no, RVN will not be going through any changes.

Yeah, by storyline in the TACMAP tourneys only (if you've read the storylines).....but not in an administrative capacity.

Everyone is apprehensive, and a little defensive. were all being put up for adoption. lol

People are expecting this announcement to be some huge change.. but it probably isn't going to be a huge change, did you notice when McDonalds, or Best Buy changed owners.?

 

The new owners maybe just as capable if not more, & im sure they have plans to do a lot.. i wouldn't think they would buy a site just for the name, im sure they have plans.!!

No wonder, i used to get 4 slices of pickle on my quarter pounder, now they only put 3 :'(

 

but in all seriousness, tow and sniper did make an effort of giving us several call of duty tournaments and i hope the new owners will continue to provide us with some tournies once MW2 is out. I don't see why UF has to stay exclusive to socom gamers only. why not expand a bit and welcome some more cod clans. it could be a good thing.

It is my understanding that the new COD will be better geared towards clans than before.

I'm sure it would be a good thing. THe last time though what were there 4 clans signed up? Maybe 5? I don't get why people expect UF to do all the work it takes to put on a tourney when there isn't enough interest for one.

I think that there are alot of COD clans out there who would jump in here, it's just a matter of going to find them and let them know we are here. You either have to have a very large clan to support COD and Socom or one dedicated to a single game.

 

UF tournaments are stressful on clans and it's members. Being in two large tournaments at once would be taxing on some clans. Some can barely handle one. Just like the military does with its Spec Ops, UF is designed to test a clan's overall mettle, not just the skill of it's memebers. UF will make your clan stronger or tear it apart, it will cause a clan to lose members and cause a clan to gain more dedicated members.

 

I can't wait to see more of the Rogue Warrior game. I hope it can live up to the hype that it started a couple of years ago. It had some really unique features to bring to the table for map construction for clan wars.
