Well.....<N> and LTU both took their last breaths in UF4 tonight, leaving JyK and APC the two last clans standing to face off this Thursday night after Halloween. I believe both Staff members, Rooster and Sequoyah, each took video of each match, and we'll see if they can get it up quickly or not. If not, then we'll see if we can get the Semi-Final and the Final matches all together for viewing. To <N> and LTU.....good run, both of you. Final Four is quite a feat in this tourney and you guys had what it took to get there. JyK and APC.....here's to hoping all of this culminates into an unforgettable war between your two clans. What I think will be interesting is, IF the Pats beat the Colts, if Manning's psyche will be affected any. He was starting to feel a lot of that pressure before winning the SB, as always choking when it all came down to it. Not that this game is make it or break it for EITHER team....but no one, not even members of these two teams, can ignore the HYPE behind this one. If Manning and the Colts were to lose this one, it's a bruise to the ego. If Manning and Co. are BLOWN OUT by the Pats in the same, explosive manner as just about ANYONE and EVERYONE else.....then it could definitely give Manning a reality check that brings him back a few, disappointing years. Just speculation. Thy're not just robotic players out there. Mind games figure into it all. I just think that THIS game will be more of a mind-fuck on the Colts than it would the Pats, and I believe that the Colts have MUCH more on the line on this one than the Pats do. And I also think that it's not even going to be a second half surgence....I think the Pats will come out swinging and lead by a BIG margin, by these two teams' standards, in the first half, and I BET you we will see some deflated looking players on the Colts' side of the ball on our tvs during the fourth quarter.

Oh, Apoc.......LOL Our new Staff members WILL have access to the spec room password and WILL be watching both matches, as they will be the ones setting the rooms up for our four clans. They will also, hopefully, have some write-ups for you guys, journalist style, so that you can catch as much of the action as you can.

All matches start at 8pm CST. All matches to be played in the highest ranked US CENTRAL server. All matches are to be played at FIVE rounds per map, with 6 min rounds each. All matches will be 14v14 max for each map, regardless of your ability to field a full team. All matches adhere to the strict rules of UF play, including the taking of PoWs. All matches are to start within 5 MINUTES of one another, and all maps are to be in the same room. All matches will be SET UP in the server by a UF Staff member and the password will be the same current password for the past few weeks of UF wars. The rooms will launch, regardless of how many of you make it on time, yb the Staff member's time check of 10 mins after 8pm CST. All matches can and WILL be watched by non-participating UF Staff (as in, creators and Staff members of APC will NOT have viewing privileges). Hello all..... Urgent Fury is gearing up for a BIG year in '08. We've already announced that we'd be taking on another PS3 military shooter in the coming weeks to dress up in the UF treatment you all know and love. We still have to announce this game, but rest assured, it's coming. We've already announced, and dropped tips on, the upcoming UF5 SOCOM tourney. More details will be released when they become more concrete. In anticipation for the upcoming action in TWO gaming platforms for the Urgent Fury stage, Sniper and I have been on the hunt for capable and level-headed individuals that we believe we could count on for continued support here on the forums, in-game and elsewhere. We sent out questionnaires and "applications" to many of those that we felt would represent the UF spirit well, and from those, we narrowed it all down to FIVE. These five will be considered official UF-Staff here along with those already established like Viper and Goat. 6ravity has been promoted as our Staff-coordinator so-to-speak, as he has ably been dealing with Sniper's and my workload for some time now. The new Staff members we would like to now announce are: Rooster from the [iLL] clan. Sequoyah from the [cBF] clan. Neo-X from the [*S*] clan. Uncle-Sid25 from the [+30] clan. and RedOctober from the [101] clan. I'd like to publicly congratulate these gentlemen in our offering and their accepting of this role in the UF community. Again, Sniper and I have every faith in you. UF Staff sigs will be forthcoming in the next few days, most likely. Urgent Fury is gearing up for a GREAT year in 2008 and now we believe we'll have the manpower to make it all run smoothly. We can't wait for all the things we have planned for you all to begin manifesting. Regardless of how many territories each clan has, it was interesting to see that the final four clans each have 2 clan kills to their name.

The Patriots are just plain making football boring with their godliness right now....LOL I AM looking very forward to the Colts/Patriots game, though. I think it's the only one worth watching for EITHER team this season.

Sorry.....the RAMS suck.......the Bears were just plain disappointing today. Good win to the Lions. Now you all may continue in being assholes.

Now, you all know that APC puts its recruits through a ringer. Some clans out there SAY that they do.....but here in APC, we DO it. Well, a while ago, a former APCer by the name of Swifthawk felt he had to leave the clan in order to concentrate on his freshman year of heading off to college........his first mistake. Wanting to come back after finding out he would be able to handle the work load? His second. SO......I told him that he wouldn't have to go through our 2-week tryout all over again, as he was a great APCer, but I HAD to know that he wanted back in badly enough (I mean....he DID leave once....) and I set forth a task for him that would let us know for SURE that he wanted back in. It went as so...... Well.......sigh......it looks like the boy wanted back into this fabulous outfit APC calls a clan, because in four short days, he hit us up with this...... LOL....thanks for the update, Hippie. Heather's back in school now, taking her normal classes. Some people ask her about the show but she's still under contract not to say anything until it's over. Whenever someone questions her on it, she has to smile, say "sorry," turn and walk away. But this time, she does it as if she's on a runway. LOL

Yes, as stated, creators and staff may and most likely will sit in to spectate this war. Creators and staff who are part of clans involved IN the final war will not be able to spectate, of course. There will be no other exceptions.
