Now, for anyone who DID see it............... THEY BROUGHT THE MOTHERFUCKIN' OLD-SCHOOL CYLON SHIPS AND SOLDIERS BAAAAAAACK! It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cool! I couldn't believe it. I thought the re-designed ones they had for the first three seasons were badass, but it was REALLY cool to see the old ships again....and then when they showed the pilots! HELL YEAH! That is all. I was just very excited after watching it Sunday morning. For those not knowing, the 4th season of Battlestar returns in March, but they ran this 2-hour special called "Razor" which was a VERY cool episode involving Pegasus. Anyway, if you missed it.....go find it! I'm sure it'll replay.

    I'm sure it's bad for overall business and image for the WWF/WWE/whatever to release death after death. I think the ones that make it are ones like that dude falling from the ceiling in FRONT of everyone, or that guy who recently killed his family and himself....because those you can't really hide. Accidental public death and murder are a little hard to cover up. Lone suicides and drug ODs and heart attacks, that can be family matter and, sometimes, a nice paycheck from their Federation can help the family "cope" in silence.

    Rules are rules, and we abide by ours. I'm sorry. The 3-letter norm of Socom tags should give you some idea on what a clan tag SHOULD have been, anyway. We won't be making an exception anytime soon. But again, this is for SOCOM. If you are playing CoD4, then I DO believe that 4-letter tags ARE acceptable. And if that is the case, then you're good to go. But Socom........3-letter tags.

    I listened to it....the vocals have a root in some Jon Bon Jovi sound, and the music is a good tempo and mood....reminds me like Train or Matchbox20. Good stuff, Viper.....I never knew. I like it! Now we'll wait on the sexy-swing ballad of bedroom antics called "Urgent Furry!" Cuz I like furry things in the bedroom! LOL

    If you looking to making a residence here in the UF community, you might want to think about that clan tag, as we'll most likely NOT accept it into a tourney. I'm sorry, but we strive to make UF tourneys and the community GLITCH-FREE, and that will include even the HARMLESS practices as well. Perhaps playing here will encourage you in some of these directions sooner or later.

    Welcome to the forums, Disturbance. Glad you were able to find us.....and it JUST might be the best move you've ever made in your days of playing SOCOM! Â LOL Don't be afraid to jump into all the conversations going on here on the forum, and hitting up some clans for potential scrimms. Â There is a UF Clan Directory just above the Public Section that will shift you over to some of the Community clan websites of the typical clans that populate Urgent Fury....and many of them have their own forums where you can get familiar with them and schedule friendly matches, which may help you prepare for potential future UF tourneys. Just give our Forum Guideline thread a quick glance over so you know what is expected while yuo're here posting on the UF forums. Otherwise.....WELCOME, and enjoy your stay. - TOW

    Oh thank GOD! Here I thought in the last couple nights that I've simply lost my touch. I hate becoming one of those guys constantly saying "bullshit, I SHOT him!" Which was crossing my mind as I was looking through my scope....LOL

    The graphics. Lay down on the ground on the DOWNPOUR map.....scope in on the ground 10-20 feet away from you, and look at the beauty of raindrops crashing to the ground and the explosion of water coming up into the air. On BACKLOT, call in a chopper and look at how now matter WHERE you are, the shadow of the chopper dances on and massages all the buildings around you like a shadowy ghost. I like the smaller details of this game. They're truly breathtaking.

    Actually...and here's a little lesson ripped right out of my teacher's itinerary for the beginning of my class. The first video games marketed to homeowners (after coin-op was the ONLY avenue) were inspired by Dungeons & Dragons....and Star Wars. Star Wars jump started the CGI-type era, and D&D jump started the RPG era. BOTH were geared towards young males aged 15-32 and both became what the industry easily claims are the top two genres for video game sales....fantasy and sci-fi. The sci-fi of BOTH of those properties lent itself to one VERY important component to the formulation of ACTUAL video game play, namely, just HOW does/can a character come back "from the dead..." much like you do today in just about ANY video game you play...simply so you can play again. Fantasy (magic) and Sci-Fi (science) are the only two genres of storytelling in which "reincarnation" is a "feasible" outcome every time your playable character "dies." Thus, the idea of the video game was born. Young males were the primary target audience...hence, why, through all these years, we see a predominantly MALE gaming industry and game development industry. It's why it's taking so long to GET females into a dominant role in games. You all think that games are a multi-million/billion dollar industry NOW.....just think of what it COULD be if females regarded video games as well as males do.
