When we first showed the trailer for the new Rambo movie on these forums, the trailer simply called it "John Rambo." Looks like, from this article, the movie now has an OFFICIAL title, Rambo: To Hell & Back. Full story, with other working titles, here: http://www.tvshark.com/read/?art=arc982

There are no plans to scrap Black.

After a few tries with various other games in the past, UF looks to be expanding beyond Socom to include another military-based shooter in the very near future. We will be looking to see how this new release plays on the PS3. And for the purists, don't worry, Socom is what got UF started, and UF will always stay faithful to the franchise. We eagerly await the new installment when it gets released. More news to come as it becomes available.

I'm going to give it a try, Chick. And if you're adamant about not playing it, Socom Confrontation looks to keep the sacred 3rd person alive and well for ya.

Not sure if these notes were posted elsewhere on this forum, but I was reading up on the game (PS3) due out in November and came across some cool notes for the multiplayer online portion. Some of these sound pretty intriguing. "The single-player game alone makes Call of Duty 4 seem very promising, but toss in the multiplayer and it becomes even more impressive. After all, Infinity Ward has built up quite a reputation for multiplayer. The developers note that the Call of Duty games are among the most popular on Xbox Live, and that Call of Duty 2 was the most popular multiplayer game on the Xbox 360 for almost a year. Modern Warfare won't just be Call of Duty 2 multiplayer with new maps and weapons; there are also a ton of new features designed to improve accessibility, community participation, and persistence. Perhaps the most intriguing new feature is the create-a-class ability, which lets you create your own custom soldier, armed with different weapons and equipment, depending on what you've unlocked. Even better are new special abilities that add an almost role-playing-like aspect to the game. There are potentially dozens of special abilities, but you can choose only one or two at any given time, so it becomes a matter of choice. For instance, there's last stand, which gives you a few seconds after you're killed to pull out and use the pistol to shoot the person who got you. Heavy endurance will let you sprint farther, and fast reload will let you reload faster. Or there's martyrdom, which automatically drops a live grenade if you die. Perhaps the nastiest one we heard of lets you eavesdrop on the other team's voice communications. "

So my model-wannabe student in question here is BACK here at the institute. While teaching class today, another student of mine told me that Heather is in another of her classes this quarter. She's tight-lipped in not saying ANYTHING about the show, though. Still under contract I suppose. Weird....though things have changed for her a little bit, as people know she's someone on a tv show right now. I hope she doesn't come here and find out I was saying she was a little "off." LOL For some reason, I thought when she went on this show, that her student career was put on hiatus. I guess I am also glad to see that, no matter how the show turns out for her, that it hasn't.

Sniper and I have reluctantly decided to take down the Breakout sections of this tourney. We don't believe any deadline we put up, no matter how long, would have yielded the teams necessary for this tourney. A full disclosure will be hitting the UF forums within the week regarding Breakout and the future of Urgent Fury. Thank you.

LOL......well, I guess the last two posts answer SOME of these concerns...... All in all, like I said above, the poll doesn't mean much. No one knows how this will end short of us having one sole winner before the 13th week playoff deadline. Otherwise, we can have a top 4 clan shoot-out and FOURTH place can come out on top. Depends on the day. We'll see. I CAN say that, going through four tours thus far, this has been the most enjoyable for me and the most smooth for the creators. So however it ends, I've been satisfied.

You should lobby Xbox to be put on their payroll as much as you lobby against the PS3.
