Your CLAN REP is "supposed" to be the conduit between you and UF Command. They're your LIFELINE to proper play and are INTEGRAL in making SURE your clan does NOT do something that jeopardizes your chances or stay in this tourney. YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE ---NEED--- FOR YOUR CLAN REP AND YOUR CLAN TO READ THE RULES! FULLY! Below, this was posted in the Clan Rep Section, so hopefully you will understand the frustration in the Clan Rep section BEFORE UF4 has even kicked off....and perhaps you will turn on the light bulb for the ones you have deemed worthy enough of representing your clan in this exclusive, invitation only tourney! People! VERY few of the questions you are asking deserve an admin answer here. MOST of the questions asked deserve a swift kick in the stink hole. The most recent question......"how many attacks do we get?" Guys......YOU NEED TO READ THE RULES. PLEASE READ THE RULES. YOU ARE CLAN REPS, SO PLEASE, FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR CLAN, PLEASE READ THE RULES. Those rules were put up MONTHS ago so you could properly and carefully READ THE RULES. SO PLEASE..................AGAIN................READ THE RULES. This is starting to become a panic situation if we have a bunch of clans rushing in to win some flat panel tv, without even THINKING that they need to read the rules in order to win it! I'm SERIOUSLY starting to get the idea that when people type "I know I read it somewhere," or "I don't think I saw this in the rules," or "this is a rule, right?", then I really DOUBT you've read them at ALL. It's worrisome, people. Sniper and I did not spend MONTHS developing the rules for UF4, I did not spend DAYS writing the rules for UF4 and our admins did not spend HOURS proofing the rules for UF4 so that you, as your clan's CLAN REP, could disregard it totally OR skim through them as if they were the ingredients list for your Evian water bottle! YOU NEED TO READ THE RULES. PLEASE......Clan Reps........ READ THE UF4 RULES! If a creator's frustration is showing a little in this post.....well.......I suppose I can't help it. C'mon, guys. "How many attacks do we get?" READ THE ******'IN RULES!

Yeah, that was when I got hooked on television shows...LOL Sid, do yourself a favor and RENT the first season of the revamped Battlestar. It's a MUST SEE for Sci-Fi fans.

No, this was a REMAKE for the last three years, and might I say, some of the BEST storytelling on TV! They got MUCH more military in this show than the original, the Cylons are even FREAKIER (in more ways than one, actually), and their story lines actually mimic real world events that we deal with everyday. I'm sad to see it go. It airs on Sci-Fi Channel, for those interested.

Buffiverse TV-Movie For BBC?? RIPPER in 2008?? “Ripper,†a Rupert Giles-centric BBC project Joss Whedon has been talking about since the fifth season of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,†may yet manifest. Speaking at a Dark Horse Comic Con event in San Diego Saturday, Whedon says he now hopes to launch “Ripper†as a 90-minute BBC movie in 2008. In the current Whedon-masterminded "Buffy: Season Eight" comic-book series, Giles is busy training a platoon of vampire slayers. Hopefully the new project will acknowledge this?

Guys, everyone on this thread please just shut up now. This thread was well-meant, and people just retarded it. Cut it out. As for Wikipedia, who CARES about Wiki? Any "encyclopedia" database that can be edited by any retard sitting behind his home computer is NOT a great source to refer to ANYWAY. And someone PLEASE edit it again and put their own damn clan URL there instead of APC's so these idiot accusations can stop. Sheesh. A saw a few babies on this thread just now.

This is important. If you're not a woman, then you're DATING a woman, or MARRIED to a woman or will help your daughter GROW into a woman. Take the time to pass this through to others you know. It doesn't take long, and will HELP others in the process. From a nurse: I'll never forget the look in my patients eyes when I had to tell them they had to go home with the drains, new exercises and no breast. I remember begging the Doctors to keep these women in The hospital longer, only to hear that they would, but their hands were tied by the insurance companies. S o there I sat with my patients, giving them the instructions they needed to take care of themselves, knowing full well they didn't grasp half of what I was saying, because the glazed, hopeless, frightened look spoke louder than the quiet 'Thank You they muttered. A mastectomy is when a woman's breast is removed in order to remove cancerous breast cells/tissue. If you know anyone who has had a Mastectomy, you may know that there is a lot of discomfort and pain afterwards. Insurance companies are trying to make mastectomies an outpatient procedure. Let's give women the chance to recover properly in the hospital for 2 days after surgery. It takes 2 seconds to do this and is very important .. Please take the time and do it really quick! Please send this to everyone in your address book. If there was ever a time when our voices and choices should be heard, this is one of those times. If you're receiving this, it's because I think you will take the 30 seconds to go to vote on this issue and send it on to others. You know who will do the same. There's a bill called the Breast Cancer Patient Protection Act which will require Insurance Companies to cover a minimum 48-hour hospital stay for patients undergoing a mastectomy. It's about eliminating the 'drive-through mastectomy' where women are forced to go home just a few hours after surgery, against the wishes of their doctor, still groggy from anesthesia and sometimes with drainage tubes still attached. Lifetime Television has put this bill on their Web page with a petition drive to show your support. Last year over half the House signed on. PLEASE!! Sign the petition by clicking on the Web site below. Yes, that's a GOLDEN lesson/rule around here in UF country, people! This tourney is ONLY as fun as the clans who play it are HONEST and HONORABLE! We mean that! When players/clans start trying to get away with things or start playing shady, it ruins it for EVERYONE. EVERYONE.

I actually get very VERY envious of all the newer clans that play their UF tourney for the very first time. Urgent Fury for Sniper and I can be half passion, half work. But the thing is, we work on these tourneys for about 5-7 months BEFORE we even leak out info on it or release it. Sniper and I were working on PoW around week 10 of UF3! So when you guys get blasted in the face with the new tacmaps, standings pages, rules and everything, Sniper and I are just wiping the sweat from our brows and muttering "here we go again!" There's NOTHING like the feeling that you ALL are going to feel when you head into the first lobby of your first war for UF4. Nothing. Having 3 tourneys under my belt now, I kind of know the feeling already. And though I will have just as much fun in this one, if not more, than the previous ones, my excitement level gets a little muted because 1: I've done three already and 2: I co-created it. It's YOUR excitement level now that I sort of live vicariously through. But yes, Lizardman is absolutely CORRECT. All you newcomers to UF....or all the clans that were in our small map tourneys and coming to this as their first TACMAP tourney......you guys will have your excitement levels off the charts on your first week or two's worth of wars, if not the whole damn tourney! Enjoy it, people! There was a lot of hard work put into this one. We hope you enjoy it! TOW

FRET NOT, dear Sid! If PoW goes off the way Sniper and I are planning and hoping it will, then PoW's game template may become a new standard here at UF.......we'll see.
