So, the kick off meeting for UF4 happened tonight, with 24 Clan Reps heading in to choose a territory along with a mystery territory pre-bundled with it. All you had to see on the TACMAP were scattered territories that were either Heliports or Headquarters. So....after studying the map before you headed into the tourney.....which do YOU believe is the more advantageous to have started out with, not knowing what you would end up getting as your second territory?

Again, guys....just as a reminder....Sniper will update the tacmap will ALL the maps once he wakes his ass up on Monday. Look for them early afternoon on the UF website.

Due to the overwhelming amount of work going on in the last few days for the tourney kick off and coinciding website updates, the Urgent Frequency podcast WILL be late. Don't look for it tonight, as scheduled. We hope to get the podcast and Cmdr. Fury to your earholes by EARLY this week.

Clan Reps in need to discuss matters have the Clan Rep SECTION to take care of that. Anything outside of that, as in playing, that's just taken care of on your own coordinated time, and to the discretion of the participants.

Is "Peace" mispelled on purpose? Not trying to say you're wrong, because there might be some hidden clan meaning behind that. But if not....

Actually, that was a minor rule change when the PoW rules were issued. There will not longer be any lost wars due to bad names, simply because we had too many instances where a clan wouldn't say anything about a mispelled player on the other team until they lost the war, THEN they would say "well, you didn't win anyway because your player is mispelled." SO, the rule states that once the room greens up, then everyone is legal. That means while everyone is red, it is YOUR job to check over your roster to make sure your players are legal, and to check your OPPONENTS' roster to check THEM for mispellings. If they have a mispelled player, or an incorrectly displayed player, then it is YOUR RIGHT to request they leave the room. You do NOT have to award the other team "extra time" for that player to log out and re-login with the correct name. This tourney is about respect, and a player/team/clan showing up without totally being PREPARED isn't respecting the time they set up the war with that other clan. Of course, if there IS enough time, that player CAN leave, log back in CORRECTLY, and play in the war. And lastly, YES, all caps have to be EXACT. Thank you.

Please read the rules. If the rules are unclear, then bring it up here and QUOTE the rules, so I know exactly what you may have a problem with. The last thing I want to do is try to find answers to what I THINK are the questions when, in reality, I may be trying to answer the wrong thing. Thank you.

Thank you. Like I said above, I didn't know WHO was missing from the CR section and I didn't have the time to really figure it out by comparing lists. Thanks for taking the initiative. Good luck in the tourney.

Do NOT assume that your clan is set. PLEASE check with your clan leaders to find out if this was taken care of for YOUR clan.

I'll write this in all CAPS, so that no one misses this message NOR will anyone mistake the urgency in which we remind you that your clan NEEDS to be on top of things in order to engage in an Urgent Fury tourney. WE HAVE 23 CONFIRMED CLANS ALREADY ACCEPTED INTO THIS TOURNEY, AND WE ONLY HAVE 22 CLAN REPS IN THE CLAN REP SECTION. THIS MEANS -ONE- CLAN OUT THERE DOES -NOT- HAVE REPRESENTATION IN THE CLAN REP COUNCIL. THIS MEANS YOU WILL -NOT- HAVE THE ABILITY TO SUBMIT A 32-MAN ROSTER BY THE FRIDAY NIGHT MIDNIGHT DEADLINE. THIS MEANS YOU WILL -NOT- HAVE A SECURED ROSTER TO PLAY IN UF4. THIS MEANS.....YOU-DO-NOT-GET-TO-PLAY-IN-UF4. PEOPLE...THIS IS A -WELL- STRUCTURED TOURNAMENT. WE MAKE THIS -VERY- EASY FOR YOU. PLEASE GET ON THE BALL AND FIGURE OUT WHO YOUR REP IS AND -FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS- SET FORTH IN THE INVITATION THAT -YOU- HAD ACCEPTED. WE DO -NOT- HAVE THE TIME TO SIFT THROUGH ALL THE INVITES AND PLAYERS TO FIGURE OUT WHO IS MISSING. IF 22 OTHER PLAYERS CAN DO THIS, THEN -YOU- CAN DO THIS. THIS IS YOU -F-I-N-A-L- REMINDER. Grenades are allowed. The only weapon NOT allowed is the grenade LAUNCHERS. And yes, Clan Reps CAN play in the tourneys.
