1: Asking for a new host. 2: Asking the other team to remove a questionable player. 3: Informing your UF4 opponent you will be taking a penalty round. 4: Typing someone outside a full room that you're trying to make room for him. 5: Whispering a quick team message at the beginning of a mic-problem round to switch to radio channel 1. 6: Ease of typing new room names or a room's password upon entry. 7: When mics don't work in the lobby and keyboards are the only recourse. There are PLENTY of reasons, good reasons, for the use of a keyboard in SOCOM. As with ANYTHING in life, for as many people who use things for the way they were intended, there will ALWAYS be those who use them for alternative, questionable means. And that's why we have police! ;D

The previous warning, though unspoken, certainly meant not hounding me on PMs after you've done so in posts. Banned......2 wks. Hopefully 2 wks will give you enough time to grow up a little. If I was "power hungry," then it would have been 20 weeks as you're starting to deserve.

Death's Right Hand [DRH] have the distinct honor of being the first clan knocked out of UF4. With JyK and APC taking DRH's two territories early in the week, and APC and OK not giving up anything on their defenses, Death's Right Hand finds themselves on the unemployment line early on in the tourney. With their early elimination being NO indication of the type of clan that they are, Urgent Fury would like to thank them for their participation in this tourney AND for upholding the standards that UF demands of its participants in this community. DRH, you're a stand up clan and it was OUR honor to have you participate in this tourney. Hope you liked your taste of the "big game." These guys deserve the round of applause then I'm sure they'll receive. Don't sweat it, DRH. My last message on this thread ASKED that this NOT continue, especially here in public. It seems that you simply CANNOT read and understand instructions. In lieu of penalizing your entire clan, which we do not want to hold responsible for the loud mouths of 1-2 players unable to understand a simple request, you are being banned from posting on these forums for 2 WEEKS. Your ban will end in 14 days.

You can now find PoWs in TWO lists, both of which are found in the same section as the war schedule.... 1: PoW Camp Lists, which name the PoW camp, the clan holding that camp, and the PoWs inside of them. 2: The Legal Clan Rosters, which will show players with a strike-through to show they are taken as PoWs and cannot war. Letting you all know, so that it will be easier to end any confusion about legal gunners quickly.

Y'see....the nutty thing about Sniper and I is that we just HATE spoiling any surprises about upcoming tourneys......

So far, everyone seems to be on the right page about the proper way to report wars.....and that's surprising! So thank you. However, PLEASE keep in mind when you are reporting these wars, that the TOPIC of the thread you are creating has a format as well. We expect the name of the territory being fought over to be named in the title as well, as it is easier to reference if the need arises. Please inform your gunners of this small but important note.

The second night of UF4 wars now sees the tourney's FIRST PoWs taken into custody. There were a few sweeps tonight and then there were two HQ wars where some HEAVY losses occurred, with two clans losing THREE gunners EACH from their rosters...... We promised a tourney that would be MORE intense than any other UF tour we've ever given you. In day-2, I think we have proven that in spades. Rosters are dwindling and good shooters are now wearing shackles, helpless to assist their clans in upcoming wars until they're rescued. Here we go.......!

If no offense was meant with the post, then I would suggest that you not refer to a tactic someone just used in a UF4 as....what's the word I'm looking for......."CRAP." Real Navy Seals, I thought, were also "prepared for anything." So everyone......prepare yourselves for a tank plant. And that's pretty much that. Anyway, with as many M3s and RPGs you get in a game, I don't know how ANYONE survives too long riding in a lumbering, slow tank. Again, to me, just shows unpreparedness. Let's ease up on the comments here, people. This can continue as a debate.....not the start of a flame fest.

A learning period is natural for some of the newer clans, to be sure, but the Clan Reps need to be doing a MUCH better job at informing their members of what does and does not happen in this tourney, and how it all goes about. CRs....you have a JOB, and it's not just to carry a title and attend a meeting once a week. Start INFORMING your clansmen!

Correct, ANYONE from the war can report it and confirm it....not just CRs, Clan Leaders and Field Commanders. ANYONE.

The wars should be reported AND confirmed the night of the war. This practice does not take long. Posting the stats takes 2 mins, confirming it takes 2 seconds. Please take care of these duties immediately upon the finish of your war. Thank you.

Well, I would think if a clan pulls that on me the FIRST time, then kudos to them for thinking up a strat like that. But that's all I give them. If they pull it a second time, and I haven't gotten MY team ready for that very same tactic with some rockets or something before the tank got there, then that just makes me unprepared and slow.
