  1. God bless all U.S. Veterans, especially those deployed into harm's way for this great nation.
  2. 10 November marks the birth date of the United States Marine Corps. Birthplace: Tun Tavern. Of course the Corps was born in a bar. Nickname: "Devil Dog". Given by a German Officer after the battle of Belleau Wood in WW I. The German Officer said that the Marines fought like Tuefelhunden, which translated into english means "hounds from hell". Motto: Semper Fidelis. Latin for "Always Faithful". Hero's (very short list so not to ramble on): Dan Daly and Smedly Butler: Winner of two Medal of Honors in two different conflicts. Chest Puller: Winner of 5 Navy Crosses the nations second highest award. Also lead the Marines out of the Chosin Reservior when surrounded and outnumbered by 10-1. When informed that his unit was surrounded, Chesty said "We're surrounded? Good, now we can kill the bastards in any direction.". John Quick: Who stood out on a beach exposed and signaled ships to adjust fire on enemy positions in Guantanamo Bay Cuba. Lloyd Williams: Among the first U.S. forces to arrive at Paris at the beginning of WW I, was told by locals to retreat because the Germans were coming. Lloyd's reply was "Retreat hell, we just got here". The history is long and distinguished. I'll just talk about two battes. Belleau Wood WW I. Shortly after arriving in France at the start of WW I, once getting a foot hold, Marines started moving forward. They come upon Belleau Wood where the Germans were deeply entrenched and was capable of shooting a wall of lead from automatic machines guns. The fire was murderous, gains made in inches by Marines. Sergeant Major Dan Daly, winner of two Medal of Honor is famous for saying "Come on you son's of bitches, do you want to live forever" and lead the charge that finally defeated the Germans. Iwo Jima WW II. Fighting a cut off and entrenched Japanese forces, who had already been told that surrender was not a option for them, that they were indeed going to die, and it was their mission to take 10 enemy soldiers with them each. The Japanese Commander boasted "a million men couldn't take Iwo Jima in one thousand years". It didn't take that many men and barely a month to take Iwo Jima. A few of my favorite quotes about Marines: "The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps!" ~ Eleanor Roosevelt "Panic sweeps my men when they are facing the American Marines." ~Captured North Korean Major "Of the Marines on Iwo Jima, uncommon valor was a common virtue" ~ Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz Iwo Jima WWII "Marines are about the most peculiar breed of human beings I have ever witnessed. They treat their service as if it was some kind of cult, plastering their emblem on almost everything they own, making themselves up to look like insane fanatics with haircuts to ungentlemanly lengths, worshipping their Commandant almost as if he was a god, and making weird animal noises like a band of savages. They'll fight like rabid dogs at the drop of a hat just for the sake of a little action, and are the cockiest SOB's I have ever known. Most have the foulest mouths and drink well beyond man's normal limits, but their high spirits and sense of brotherhood set them apart and , generally speaking, of the United States Marines I've come in contact with, are the most professional soldiers and the finest men I have had the pleasure to meet." ~ An Anonymous Canadian Citizen "The deadliest weapon in the world is a Marine and his rifle!" ~ General Pershing, US Army "Tell that to the Marines!" ~ President Franklin D. Roosevelt after the attacks on Pearl Harbor "Some people live an entire lifetime wondering if they've made a difference in the world, Marines don't have that problem." ~ President Ronald Regan "The safest place in Korea was right behind a platoon of Marines. LORD, how they could fight!" ~ Major General Frank Lowe, US Army "Marines I see as two breeds, Rottweilers or Dobermans, because Marines come in two varieties, big and mean, or skinny and mean. They're aggressive on the attack and tenacious on the defense. They've got really short hair and they always go for the throat." ~ RAdm. "Jay' R. Stark, U.S. Navy God bless all Marines, especially those deployed into harm's way. You make me proud. Happy Birthday.
  3. I just made an observation from the pictures provided..... let's all try not to be so thin skinned. Obama is going to be criticized, count on it. All Presidents are. President Clinton let us in on the secret all President's learn on the job. "Want a friend in Washington? Get a dog". But I do want to point out one thing. There's a big difference between "booing" someone and putting the picture of a U.S. military war veteran and POW on a "No Dogs Allowed" sign. As a veteran I find that not only tasteless, but over the line of decency. Hate indeed.... and that's talking about the person who did it, not Obama.
  4. Thanks for the pictures Tow. I can't help but be struck that there were more hate filled signs than there were American flags or even signs that had a positive message. Odd thing to have occur at a celebration..... The election is over and I do accept the result. I hope an Obama administration put's American's first and foremost. Our national security, our economy, the strength of our dollar, and our standard of living.
  5. Parting shot. Some humor for a change of pace: http://news.aol.com/political-machine/2008/11/02/a-picture-worth-150-000-words/ Participate in the democratic process, make your voice be heard, vote and be proud of your vote. Majority rules, it's the democratic and American way. Beats the hell out of a dictator which I think we all can agree we don't want. I've mostly enjoyed the conversation and the discussion of ideals. I think it's healthy for all of us. If your candidate wins be gracious, if he loses accept it and vote again next time around. You will feel better either way. Tomorrow is the day, make the time to vote, no matter who you choose. Just participate in the democratic process, it's your right, exercise it.
  6. Time for a November suprise, the final step in the Troopergate investigation of Governer Palin: http://www.adn.com/palin/story/577323.html A new report just released -- hours before the polls open on Election Day -- exonerates Gov. Sarah Palin in the Troopergate controversy. The state Personnel Board-sanctioned investigation is the second into whether Palin violated state ethics law in firing her public safety commissioner, and it contradicts the earlier findings by a special counsel hired by the state Legislature. Both investigations found that Palin was within her rights to fire Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan. But the new report says the Legislature's investigator was wrong to conclude that Palin abused her power by allowing aides and her husband, Todd, to pressure Monegan and others to dismiss her ex-brother-in-law, Trooper Mike Wooten. Palin was accused of firing Monegan after Wooten stayed on the job. The Palins have argued that Wooten was a loose cannon who had tasered his stepson, drank beer in his patrol car, and threatened Palin's father, and that their complaints that he shouldn't be on the force were justified. The Troopergate matter became sharply politicized after Palin was announced as Republican presidential candidate John McCain's running mate in Tuesday's election. The report, released at a Monday afternoon press conference at the Hotel Captain Cook, presents the findings and recommendations of Anchorage lawyer Timothy Petumenos, hired as independent counsel for the Personnel Board to examine several complaints against Palin. Petumenos wrote the Legislature's special counsel, former state prosecutor Steve Branchflower, used the wrong state law as the basis for his conclusions and also misconstrued the evidence. His findings and recommendations include: - There is no cause to believe Palin violated the state ethics law in deciding to dismiss Monegan as public safety commissioner. - There is no cause to believe Palin violated the state ethics law in connection with Wooten. - There is no cause to believe any other state official violated the ethics act. - There's no basis to conduct a hearing to "address reputational harm," as requested by Monegan. - The state needs to address the issue of using private e-mails for government work and to examine how records are kept in the governor's office. Palin used her Yahoo e-mail account for state business until it was hacked. Now you know both sides of the story. Make up your own minds.
  7. Now back on topic, it's a video of Obama taking both sides of the issues: I really wish he would stick to one side of an issue, it would be a refreshing change of pace. Be informed, vote.
  8. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081103/ap_on_el_pr/obama_grandmother Condolences to the Obama family. God knows I disagree on most every political stance Obama has, but I wouldn't wish this on anyone. May God comfort the Obama family during this difficult time.
  9. And Governor Palin is suppossed to be afraid of the press? http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/11/this-mornings-s.html November 02, 2008 10:49 AM In Springfield, Mo., over the roar of the engine of O Force One. (Exclamation points convey shouting so as to be heard.) ABC News: Senator Obama, what would you tell your Treasury Secretary do differently with the $700 billion?! Obama: (laughs) ABC News: It's a substantive question! Obama: It is! But Jake, we're on a tarmac! That's a pretty good question! ABC News: Have a press conference then! Obama: I will! On Wednesday! Obama walks up the stairs to his plane. Obama hasn't had a press conference in over a month. What is he afraid of? Listen to Obama give a stump speech, he's got an answer for everything, I listened to one today and he blamed Dick Cheney for it starting to rain during his speech. It seems we just have to wait until after the election, if he wins, to find out what those answers are. Be informed and vote.
  10. Busy night for Obama. Just found out, Obama did a interview with the San Francisco Chronicle in January 2008, but the SF news paper left out some of that interview: http://media.newsbusters.org/stories/hidden-audio-obama-tells-sf-chronicle-he-will-bankrupt-coal-industry.html?q=blogs/p-j-gladnick/2008/11/02/hidden-audio-obama-tells-sf-chronicle-he-will-bankrupt-coal-industry "So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can; it's just that it will bankrupt them because they're going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that's being emitted." Soooo, we can have coal plants, we use coal to produce 49% of our electicity, but under a Obama Administration it would not be able to survive because of fines that will be levied against the coal plants. What kind of freaking logic is that? Going to put even more people out of work? http://www.answers.com/topic/united-mine-workers Up to 100,000 more people out of work. That doesn't include the trains that move coal. The equipment makers that provide the equipment to dig for coal. That doesn't include the electricity industry. That doesn't include the home heating industry. Our largest energy resource, and if Obama get's elected, he intends to bankrupt the coal industry. Obama has said he supports clean coal. Obama said he is going to bankrupt the coal industry. Taking both sides of an issue depending on who he's talking to. And yet another U.S. newspaper hiding information from the American voting public.
  11. From the people who's poll was closest to the actual vote totals in the 2004 Presidential Election. http://www.ibdeditorials.com/series13.aspx?src=POLLTOPN The race tightened again Sunday as independents who'd been leaning to Obama shifted to McCain to leave that key group a toss-up. McCain also pulled even in the Midwest, moved back into the lead with men, padded his gains among Protestants and Catholics, and is favored for the first time by high school graduates. Date McCain Obama Not Sure Spread 11/2 44.6% 46.7% 8.7% Obama +2.1 "Most Accurate Pollster Of The Campaign Season" An analysis of Final Certified Results for the 2004 election showed TIPP was the most accurate pollster of the campaign season, coming within three-tenths of a percentage point of Bush’s actual margin of victory. Learn more at http://www.TIPPonline.com. This race is not over. The undecideds are breaking for McCain big time.
  12. Obama's own words in a recorded interview: http://www.eyeblast.tv/public/checker.aspx?v=e46U2Gnzpr The problem is not technical, uh, and the problem is not mastery of the legislative intricacies of Washington. The problem is, uh, can you get the American people to say, “This is really important,†and force their representatives to do the right thing? That requires mobilizing a citizenry. That requires them understanding what is at stake. Uh, and climate change is a great example. You know, when I was asked earlier about the issue of coal, uh, you know — Under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket. Even regardless of what I say about whether coal is good or bad. Because I’m capping greenhouse gases, coal power plants, you know, natural gas, you name it — whatever the plants were, whatever the industry was, uh, they would have to retrofit their operations. That will cost money. They will pass that money on to consumers. They — you — you can already see what the arguments will be during the general election. People will say, “Ah, Obama and Al Gore, these folks, they’re going to destroy the economy, this is going to cost us eight trillion dollars,†or whatever their number is. Um, if you can’t persuade the American people that yes, there is going to be some increase in electricity rates on the front end, but that over the long term, because of combinations of more efficient energy usage, changing lightbulbs and more efficient appliance, but also technology improving how we can produce clean energy, the economy would benefit. If we can’t make that argument persuasively enough, you — you, uh, can be Lyndon Johnson, you can be the master of Washington. You’re not going to get that done. He's going to give you a pittance of a tax cut or rebate if you don't pay taxes, but he's going to make your energy costs skyrocket. His words, not mine. Be informed, vote.
  13. Street has already covered it. Can we stop saying the limit is $250,000 a year when referring to Obama's tax hike? It's now down to $120,000 a year, it's been reported in the news and Obama has not put out a statement that the new numbers is incorrect, and I predict it will drop even more if Obama is elected. Obama already is on record for voting for tax increases of people making a little as $42,000 a year.
  14. Thank you. There's a pew poll out, I can't find it on the internet, but it states on positive and negative stories on each Presidential candidate: Fox news is 40% negative stories and 40% positive stories on BOTH candidates. MSNBC is 60% negative and 30% positive about McCain. 74% positive and 14% negative about Obama. Plus, I'm not talking about a whole network. I'm talking about a "commentater" that talked down to and lectured Hillary Clinton for almost 10 minutes on national TV and the purpose of the "lecture" was to tell Clinton to drop out of the race to make room for Obama. Here's the video, if you can say that Olbermann is a serious news reporter after watching this, then we can just agree to disagree (be sure to watch all of it, there are some real pearls in there): Look as long as you like, but you will never find such a bias on ANY OTHER NEWS NETWORK in the United States. If you are getting your news from Olbermann, you are getting your news from a far left wing fanatic. Maddow isn't much better, and Chris Matthews is the guy with the "thrill" up his leg when he hears Obama speak. Here's a couple more video's showing just how far Olbermann is in the tank for Obama for good measure: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5fydONgwA8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0air5vu1d9o And my personal favorite, after numerous softball interviews Olbermann has given to Obama, Olbermann has the gall to criticize someone else for giving Palin a softball interview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7vXwxU_6rQ
  15. That's it? Keith Olbermann who went on a 10 minute rant on NATIONAL CABLE NEW telling Hilllary Clinton to get out of the Democratic Race? Olbermann who is a ardent Obama supporter? Olbermann who posts on DailyKos freqeuntly? The same Olbermann who was fired from covering election night coverage because his convention coverage was too biased, NOT MY WORDS, the words of his bosses at NBC. Come on man... at least make it hard. Olbermann is a hack. Using Olbermann as a reference is like me using Rush Limbaugh as a reference, WHICH I HAVE NEVER DONE. It's all an act, just to generate advertising dollars like OReilly and Hannity does, just like all cable news commentary shows do. If that is your definition of "bullshit", then I need to go back and call a lot of "bullshit" on numerous posts. Didn't you see the part where I said "independent and verifiable new sources" ? Olbermann is not a news source. Olbermann is an act to make money. PLUS, I never posted anything from Olbermann. I never used Olbermann as a source. I laughed at Olbermann being used as a source. Big difference. Strike One on the bullshit O'Meter. Olbermann is bullshit, but I didn't throw that pitch, someone else did. Look for a bullshit pitch I threw. Good luck.
  16. "Bullshit" on both sides" ? Sorry RNG, I'm going to challenge you on that. Please, quote any "bullshit" I have posted, the thread is over 50 pages long, I'm a major contributer as to why it's 50 pages long, so this shouldn't be hard if I've been posting "bullshit". Quote and post any "bullshit" I have posted, back it up with verifiable independent news sources and let the chips fall where they may. I think you are fishing in a empty well RNG, it's time you proved me wrong. I'm not just talking out my ass like some people who will remain un-named, and I'm about to prove it. Your move.
  17. McCain makes a valid point: http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/10/31/mccain-hungry-upset-obama-eyes-landslide/ In the final weekend before the presidential election, John McCain unveiled a new attack on Barack Obama, criticizing his comment that his victory in Iowa's caucuses last winter had "vindicated" his faith in the American people. "My faith in the American people was vindicated and what you started here in Iowa swept the nation," Obama said. "Vindicated" how? What opinion did Obama have of American's before he won the Iowa Democratic Primary? We know before that, his wife was never in her adult life proud of her country before that moment, because she said so on a stump speech several times. You have to vote for the Obama's for them to "vindicate" us in their own minds and for them to be "proud" of us for the first time in their adult lives? Uh... OK.... when we get to the point I am suppossed to care what the Obama's think about America and it's citizens, someone please be sure to point that out to me, I surely wouldn't want to miss that. "My country has never had to prove anything to me, my friends," McCain said while campaigning in the Washington suburbs in northern Virginia. "I've always had faith in it and I've been humbled and honored to serve it. McCain was referring to a remark Obama made at a campaign stop in Des Moines on Friday. Ask not what your country can do for you, but ask what you can do for your country.... sound familiar? In response to McCain's remarks, the Obama campaign called the criticism "pathetic" as well as a distortion aimed at attacking the Democrat's patriotism. "Sadly, this is what we've come to expect from a desperate, dishonorable campaign that will say anything in a failed attempt to win this election," Obama spokesman Bill Burton said. Distortion? American citizens had to be "vindicated" in Obama's mind by voting for him. He said it. If he didn't mean it, he shouldn't have said it. Dishonorable? Pretty funny coming from a campaign who's candidate referred to his opponents VP pick as a "you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig". Shortly after Palin's RNC speach. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBmd_OujjKM Palin never said she was a pig. Obama did say the American public "vindicated" themselves in his mind after they voted him to a Primary victory. Think about it, make up your own mind.
  18. Now I'm suppossedly masturbating and out of my mind too? You just can't stop insulting people who have a different opinion than you, can you? Dude seek help, this anger issue you have is real and it's going to burn you up. Or at least grow up.
  19. Well that's a sense of national unity I can get behind.... #1 - Jon Stewart and Rachel Maddow? I've seen those interviews, or a better term is worshiping at the Obama alter. Why don't you reference the 3 TV stations the Obama campaign has banned. Or how about the three newspapers the Obama campaign kicked off the plane when they endorsed McCain in the EDITORIAL section. The problem with Obama is not what's reported everywhere, the problem is what is concealed from the public, like the Khalidi tape the LA Times has and is refusing to make it public. Why? Because it will be damaging to Obama. #2 - I'll decide what's my fucking business and what is not. Especially when someone asking for my vote is telling us all we need to spread the wealth with those less fortunate and Obama has not. Not just his family, Obama has contributed less that 5% of his income to charity according to his latest tax records. #3 - None of what I posted was slime. It's reported news, it was already published in a newspaper or on a internet page that has a much larger readership than this forum. I thought Obama was going to be transparent? But every new thing we find out about him is worse than the last new thing we found out, which we have to dig for. Joe the Plumber has been more thoroughly vetted by the press and the Ohio Government Officials than Obama has. If I post something that is factually inaccurate then post something that show's the other side. Or you can keep calling it "slime ball tactice" which actually means, that what I posted was fact and you don't have a counter argument, so it's time to start calling names again..... LOL You got a funny idea of civil. You act like I have been talking about you personally instead of informing Obama. You have directed no less than 10 negative characterazations against me on a personal level, and you can sit here and try to preach to me about being civil? That too is rich..... LMAO
  20. LMAO.... that's rich. Coming from someone who has used Kieth Olberman as a source in this thread. Sorry pal, but you lost all credibility to question ANYONE'S news sources once you did that. Go back into your corner crying about how the last two elections were stolen from you and tonite "uncle" Kieth will come on T.V. and confirm to you that it's absolutely true. I found this, it's a video. I'm sure someone will say that Obama was forced by those nasty Republican's to say such things.... but anyhoo. Obama video, explaining how he's going to change "your" behavior: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bueCxeXZAUU&eurl=http://hotair.com/archives/2008/11/01/government-should-send-price-signals-on-energy/ Everyone catch that? The more money you make, the more you should be charged for the same services according to Obama. Not a faired share sacrifice, people targed specifically to make sacrifices. I think it's fair to say, if you are poor and satisfied being poor, and are willing to depend on the US government to take care of you, then this all sounds well and good. However, if you have ambition, be ready to pay through the nose for any successes you have if Obama and his ilk get into a position of power to change nataional policy. Speaking of sacrifices, or rather sacrifices not made by Obama. http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/ A member of Barack Obama's Kenyan family living in the United States is facing a possible immigration issue: the Associated Press reports that an aunt he speaks about in his memoirs is living in the United States illegally. The AP says she remain in government housing in Boston, even though an immigration judge denied her request for asylum four years ago. The Obama campaign has not yet responded to a CNN request for comment. Onyango has donated at least five times to Obama's campaign in July and September, listing her occupation as a "volunteer resident health advocate." Federal campaign finance records indicate several contributions in amounts of $5 and $25. Comedians can't come up with stuff this good. What I take from all of this. 1. Obama a multi millionaire doesn't help blood relatives living in poverty, but at least one of them has contributed to his campaign several times. 2. Obama doesn't want to talk to the press again.... this is becoming a distrubing habit. 3. Obama hasn't used his considerable influence to help a blood relative get a green card. 4. Obama has relatives who are in the country illegally and working under the table, unless she has stolen a social security number and using that. But I must try to be fair and balanced, and point out a selfish act on the part of the McCain's..... well about 20 years ago Cindy McCain was in Thialand on one of her several hundred good will missions, Mother Theresa asked Cindy to take two babies back with her to the US for medical treatment or the would surely die. And can you believe it, Cindy said... well she said "yes" and did it. But, when she got back to the US she dumped those girls at an orphanage.... well not exactly. The baby who needed extensive and expensive cleft palet surgery.... well those evil McCain's adopted her. But the second baby was dumped at an orphanage..... well not exactly, the McCain's found a well off family and they adopted her as well. Something bad must have happened from all of this... let me think.... I GOT IT. Those poor unfortunate girls were RIPPED from their homeland and they had no say in it at all. That was a pretty selfish thing for the McCain's to do.....
  21. Check Zogby, after Obama's "selfish" and "ego" comments. This election is not over. Make your voice heard, vote. Obama's even buying ads in California.... This is not a lock. Iowa, California, the Dem's have already telegraphed where they are going to contest the election at, North Carolina. The Obama campaign is already saying North Carolians are too stupid to fill out the ballots as they desire. No, it's not over.
  22. This is comical. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1V3FNh3mAuY&eurl=http://hotair.com/archives/2008/10/31/obama-on-low-taxes-selfishness/ Not wanting Obama and to dip into your wallet is being "selfish". Those more fortunate should share Obama declares. Just another example of Obama's leadership style, "do as I say, don't do as I have done" or said another way "do as you are told and don't look to me as an example". I'm glad he shared his toys and peanut butter sandwhich. Just one question. Was that a voluntary choice or was he forced to share?
  23. Uh.... no. Dwelling and whining about election results is what Democrats do. Like NON STOP and CONSTANTLY. "Oh... it was stolen from us... sob sob sniffle sniffle... Gore won it.... Kerry was cheated.... sob sob sniffle sniffle". It's enough to make a man sick to his stomach, knowing half his countrymen are sniveling whiners. I'm an American citizen, no matter who my President is, I hope he does what's right for America. I'm not going to spend a moment lamenting about it if my candidate doesn't win. If something is going on in politics I don't like, I'll do what I always have done, write my Senator and House Representative. By the way, why is Obama going back to Iowa? I thought that state was a lock for Obama? I say the race is within the margin of error. But what an upset it will be if McCain beats Obama after Obama has spent over $600 million dollars (which he also refuses to share with fellow Democratic politicians) and McCain has Bush's approval ratings hanging over him like a dark cloud. If McCain was to win, the Obama phenomenon is over, if Obama can't be McCain after what happened to the economy even though it's got the Democrats fringerprints all over it, the DNC would never nominate him again. Plus, Republicans have cut the Congressional Democrats numbers in half. I guess we'll have to wait until November 5th, after what happened with exit polling during the Dem's Primaries, Obama polling much higher than his actual votes, no one is going to be in a hurry to call much of anything close. Something new.... if elected, another signal to the U.S. press corps? Kiss Obama's feet or be cut off? http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/10/31/obama-plane-pitches-reporters-mccain-endorsing-papers/ Journalists from three major newspapers that endorsed John McCain -- the Washington Times, the New York Post and the Dallas Morning News -- have been booted from Barack Obama's campaign plane for the final leg of the presidential race. The Washington Times reported Friday that it was notified of the Obama campaign's decision Thursday evening -- even though the paper has covered Obama from the start. Executive Editor John Solomon told FOXNews.com that the Obama campaign said it didn't have enough seats on the plane, but "I don't think the explanation makes sense to us." "We've been traveling since 2007 with him. ... We're a relevant newspaper -- every day we break news," Solomon said. "And to suddenly be kicked off the plane for people who haven't covered it as aggressively or thoroughly as we are ... it sort of feels unfair." Also, this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6ikOxi9yYk&eurl=http://hotair.com/archives/2008/10/31/video-obama-supporter-hails-the-bringer-of-all-good-things/ As long as girlfriend isn't A BLOOD RELATIVE of Obama, she might actually get PAID! But if she's a second cousin she's going to be sh*t out of luck .
  24. Give it up dude.... You are wrong, the sooner you admit it the sooner you will be enlightened, and the sooner you can bask in the glow of Obama. Here, I'll prove it. But it doesn't matter that I posted what's below before this ^^^ was posted. Where I did discuss how McCain can win. No, I'm not discussing issues. I'm just using slimeball tactics for having the audacity to repeat something published in a newspaper that dares publish something that is not favorable to Obama. Well WarPig, personal character may not matter to you. For me, "do as I say, not as I do" is the worst form of leadership possible. And Obama, after criticizing the ENTIRE UNITED STATES OVER THE PERIOD OF HIS LIFETIME for not being charitable enough, it's found out that OBAMA ISN'T CHARITIBLE WITH HIS OWN BLOOD RELATIVES living in poverty. Well yes, I do take issue with that. I think that's a serious character flaw. Anyone catch the news today? Remember that $250,000 cut off on Obama's tax plan? I predicted that this would happen, it just happened a lot faster than I thought it would. First my prediciton: Absolutely http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ArJkzRYffec&eurl=http://hotair.com/archives/2008/09/18/biden-low-taxes-are-unpatriotic/ It's called "wealth redistribution". And it's no small increase in taxes. It can be as much as 50% of one's earnings if they make too much money. What it is, those who have taken risks with their money, their financial future, worked hard, reinvested into their own company, and created jobs for other people will be taxed at a higher rate and that money given to those who didn't do any of that (with the exception of working hard).
