  1. Beta male? Metrosexual Male? I resisted as long as I could, but it kept hanging around near the top...
  2. Yes, a hog is a superior beast such as a boar, and a pig is for breakfeast.... ;D
  3. There's one more criteria that has to be met first..... I have to be involved. Squid, I understand your point perfectly, President Clinton was my CiC the whole time he was President. Liberals despise the military. Get used to the idea and you'll sleep better at night. President Clinton was never comfortable around warriors either.
  4. We need to set up a Tun's Tavern here in the UF forums. It will drive the peaceniks crazy. No video, I posted this on 101st forums. Enjoy, I called it "Ambush Marines at your own risk" http://www.military.com/news/article/marine-corps-news/marine-makes-insurgents-pay-the-price.html Marine Makes Insurgents Pay the Price November 18, 2008 Marine Corps News|by Cpl. James M. Mercure FARAH PROVINCE, Afghanistan — In the city of Shewan, approximately 250 insurgents ambushed 30 Marines and paid a heavy price for it. Shewan has historically been a safe haven for insurgents, who used to plan and stage attacks against Coalition Forces in the Bala Baluk district. The city is home to several major insurgent leaders. Reports indicate that more than 250 full time fighters reside in the city and in the surrounding villages. Shewan had been a thorn in the side of Task Force 2d Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force Afghanistan throughout the Marines’ deployment here in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, because it controls an important supply route into the Bala Baluk district. Opening the route was key to continuing combat operations in the area. “The day started out with a 10-kilometer patrol with elements mounted and dismounted, so by the time we got to Shewan, we were pretty beat,†said a designated marksman who requested to remain unidentified. “Our vehicles came under a barrage of enemy RPGs (rocket propelled grenades) and machine gun fire. One of our ‘humvees’ was disabled from RPG fire, and the Marines inside dismounted and laid down suppression fire so they could evacuate a Marine who was knocked unconscious from the blast.†The vicious attack that left the humvee destroyed and several of the Marines pinned down in the kill zone sparked an intense eight-hour battle as the platoon desperately fought to recover their comrades. After recovering the Marines trapped in the kill zone, another platoon sergeant personally led numerous attacks on enemy fortified positions while the platoon fought house to house and trench to trench in order to clear through the enemy ambush site. “The biggest thing to take from that day is what Marines can accomplish when they’re given the opportunity to fight,†the sniper said. “A small group of Marines met a numerically superior force and embarrassed them in their own backyard. The insurgents told the townspeople that they were stronger than the Americans, and that day we showed them they were wrong.†During the battle, the designated marksman single handedly thwarted a company-sized enemy RPG and machinegun ambush by reportedly killing 20 enemy fighters with his devastatingly accurate precision fire. He selflessly exposed himself time and again to intense enemy fire during a critical point in the eight-hour battle for Shewan in order to kill any enemy combatants who attempted to engage or maneuver on the Marines in the kill zone. What made his actions even more impressive was the fact that he didn’t miss any shots, despite the enemies’ rounds impacting within a foot of his fighting position. “I was in my own little world,†the young corporal said. “I wasn’t even aware of a lot of the rounds impacting near my position, because I was concentrating so hard on making sure my rounds were on target.†After calling for close-air support, the small group of Marines pushed forward and broke the enemies’ spirit as many of them dropped their weapons and fled the battlefield. At the end of the battle, the Marines had reduced an enemy stronghold, killed more than 50 insurgents and wounded several more. “I didn’t realize how many bad guys there were until we had broken through the enemies’ lines and forced them to retreat. It was roughly 250 insurgents against 30 of us,†the corporal said. “It was a good day for the Marine Corps. We killed a lot of bad guys, and none of our guys were seriously injured.†Son of a ...... , that's gonna leave a mark.
  5. I could tell you, but then I would have to kill you.... ALL. My favorite manuever, knifing snipers. The irony is so great. They got that big gun and scope, can shoot you from across the map, and here they are getting shanked in their own spawn.
  6. very interesting reading, props to Shane.
  7. Nudge me when I am suppossed to give a shit. I don't live in their cesspool and don't care to be dragged into it. I wanted something better, worked for it, and got it. Moron's, the whole lot of them.
  8. Thank you to the government of the second highest business tax on the planet, and about to move up a rank to #1. DHL is out of business in the Unites States too. DHL services the rest of the world, but not us (United States). Does anyone but me find that strange? Or at least disturbing? Why? I know why, but I'm not allowed to discuss such things here, it involves political happenings. If you don't have a job that can't be outsourced, you better train for one. That's just good advice. I got that kind of job, I fix tractor trailers that break down in my area. If they broke down in China then I would be shit out of luck.....
  9. heh... I'm not mad. Suprised, yes. Mad, no. I just thought the discussion would be interesting. I wasn't aware I was outside of forum guidlines. It was after all an open thread that hadn't been locked.
  10. Restriction of free speech? That's change I don't need. Looked like I was going to get two predictions from the UF 2008 Election time capule right even before Obambi took office. And this morning I check it out for responses and it's gone. I had that thread saved to my favorites so I could easily look it up. And now all I can see is: The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you. Like so many other things pertaining to Obambi and his past, political record, and birthplace. We are not to know the truth and are to be kept in the dark and infromed by the likes of Kieth Olbermann and Chris Matthews. Nice....
  11. That's one hell of a pilot and crew is all I can say. Simply amazing. And most certainly WELL DONE.
  12. But it's not what you think.... ;D Watch the video and read the subtitles. http://mypetjawa.mu.nu/archives/195865.php Son of a ...... that's going to leave a mark.
  13. S2 played better than S3. if people couldn't jump over vehicles and all the soft spots, I would have voted S3 because it was the more interesting concept. I never, not once, jumped over a vehicle. It either knocked me down and hurt me a lot or killed me. Every single time. How the hell did people do it?
  14. good gag. very funny.
  15. That's really being optimistic. I'm betting there will NEVER be any new maps. Just a new game to sell, and then to patch, and patch, and patch , and patch, and patch, and patch, and patch.
  16. Nope, not in my book. I'd pay to play in a heartbeat if that meant perfect game play +2 + 3 In a heartbeat.
  17. Dang Neo, you own /6 stock or work there? /6 has really sailed the SOCOM community down the river and sold us a real lemon of a game.
  18. Day 2 after the patch, and it's obvious that /6's fix has made things even worse. Who's running /6? Larry, Moe, and Curly?
  19. We had a 16 vs 16 scrimmage last night, and there were some issues. We planted a bomb that took about 3 minutes to explode. We were jumping up and down on it, shooting it, crawling on it, and then all the sudden without warning "boom". A lot of boots. Extended time to switch sides. Extended time to start our second map. Pretty sure most all of that had to do with people downloading the update. Hope tonite is better.
  20. (on knee's praying) Please God, let MAG be good. I've always liked Zipper, even during CA which they fouled up bigtime, but the concept was good. Please, send a exorcist to rid me of this evil Slant 6 who is trying to steal my soul and force me to pound my PS3 into pieces with a sledge hammer. Show me that there is hope on the horizion, that there is a game out there that doesn't require me to play a FPS and has clan and friend options that are actually useful. I probably won't go to church reguarly, but I will owe you one. Amen. Hog Wild
  21. Why not? They are just pimps like those running GM, Chrysler, UAW, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, AIG, Lehman Brothers, 42 state governors that have their hand out currently. This was predicted with the first bailout, do it once and the floodgates will open and everyone will have their hand out begging for free money. Makes me want to puke.

  23. Sal highlights a recent problem that has been a topic in our clan forums. The VISIBLE and VERY NOTICABLE drop in SOCOM decorum since S3. It seems, gone are the days when you could ask a loner to bounce to make room for a clanmate trying to get in. And getting a clan on the same side is now a real chore, unless your clan starts the room and get's on one side before it fills up. The level of CLASS has taken a serious hit in SOCOM. I wonder where all these people came from? They weren't in SOCOM before on this level. I could remember when I first started in SOCOM, clan-less and in a room, and someone saying "Hog Wild, we are trying to get a clanmate in, could you bounce please?". And I can remember thinking to myself the guy was making a reasonable request and asked as nice as he could, so I said "sure, no problem" and went and found another room. And when I found a clan and the tables were turned, when we needed room, I tried to be as polite as I was treated when I was the loner. Don't see that now at all almost. Now it's "Would you bounce to make room for one of our clanmates trying to get in" and the response is silence or a hearty "Fuck you (insert whatever demeaning name of your choice). Or if you are the loner, right off the bat it's "LEAVE NOW OR WE WILL VOTE YOUR PUNK ASS!!!!". I miss the way it used to be, and from here on out will probably always will.
  24. I didn't know his history, but being a Marine not suprising. Our military has had and continues to have some extrordinary people. God bless him and his family.
