Not all of us. Only those of us who feel we are "entitled" to a home instead of living within their means. Those who feel "entitled" to a decent wage even though they drop out of high school and have no formal trianing and jump from job to job every couple of years, then wonder why they can't get ahead. The main excuse is that they are being held down by the "man". True enough they are being held down, but by their own poor decisions. I had to work in my first career for 10 years before I made a decent wage. If I had it all to do over again, I would have gone to college right after high school and saved myself of going to college at night for years while working a full time job.

Sorry, can't let that statement slide without correcting this popular but wrong perception of why our economy is in the tank. I'll try not to make this a political statement, and stick to verifiable facts. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac collapsed first. What did Freddie and Fannie do? The guarenteed loans for other banks because Freddie and Fannie are government backed. Fannie Mae was created by President Franklin Delanor Roosevelt back in the 1930's, it's when the government started to guarentee savings accounts to protect the people. A noble cause, and at the time prudent. When the Great Depression hit, people made a run on banks and took all their money out because they were afraid they would lose their money if the bank went under. President Jimmy Carter signed into law the Community Reinvestment Act. It's main purpose was to make it easier for lower income family's to purchase a home. Back in the 70's, to get a home loan, you had to put down a 20% down payment first. It was this way for two primary reasons, to prove to the lender that you can save money, and to make the purchaser invested into the house. People are less likely to forclose on a house if they put down a 20% down payment. The Community Reinvestment Act encouraged banks not to require a 20% down payment. Not a lot happened with this as it was. President Bill Clinton stengthened the Community Reinvestment Act by having Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guarentee home mortgage loans of banks that lent money to high risk borrowers. The banks took advantage of it, if the loan defaulted, the government banks Fannie and Freddie would absorb the loss. This was the government's idea, not the banks. In 2002 and 2004 President George Bush tried to reign in the practices of Fannie and Freddie, and were blocked by members of Congress. In 2005 Senator John McCain got legislation out of committee to reign in Fannie and Freddie, but it was never voted on in the Senate floor. Now are those are facts. But Republican's are not blameless either. Between President Carter and now, we have had a Republican as President for 20 years (Reagan 8yrs, Bush1 4yrs, Bush2 8yrs) and the Community Reinvestment Act is still with us. Mostly because Republicans are looked upon as not being compassionate. Now we all get to pay for this social engineering that failed miserably. There are other government policies that hurt our economy. Chrysler is about to go under and will if they don't get the merger deal with Fiat. CAFE standards has badly damage the U.S. auto industry. We have Chinese companies drilling for oil 60 miles off our coast, but U.S. companies are not allowed to do so. Ethanol is driving up food prices. Illegal immigration is driving down wages and costing us billions in healthcare that is paid for by the taxpayers. U.S. companies are moving overseas because of the oppressive taxes associated with doing business in the U.S. EPA regulations and requirements cost businesses billions ever year. Just to name a few. Yes, there is plenty of blame to go around. Our government is doing this to us. Giving handouts is a bad idea, because it will only mean people and businesses will expect or even demand handouts down the line. It started with Bush and the TARP funds of 700 billion dollars, only 35 billion dollars are left, and the Treasury Department admits TARP was a failure. Obama has repeated that mistake.

Too bad some liberal judge will give them house arrest for 30 days or some other moronic sentence. Elections have consequences. Judges are constantly releasing murderer's who murder again, child rapist's who rape children again, people who kill others by DUI and now are CNN Anchor's. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rick_Sanchez On December 10, 1990, Sanchez struck a pedestrian, Jeffrey Smuzinick, with his car while driving drunk on a residential street near Dolphin Stadium.[2] Smuzinick was paralyzed and eventually died from his injuries in 1995.[2][3]Sanchez, whom a Metro-Dade police officer said "smelled strongly of alcohol," first stopped his car but then later left the scene. A blood test to determine Sanchez's sobriety was not administered until an hour and fifteen minutes after the collision. Though Sanchez says he tried to aid Smuzinick at the scene of the accident and flag down motorists, eyewitnesses claim the anchorman ignored the injured man and loudly told police and bystanders that blood tests were pointless, and would hurt his public image.[4] Sanchez, who had just left an NFL football game with his father (and left the scene of the accident)[4], was not charged with causing the accident, but was charged with and pleaded no contest to DUI. And now Sanchez is on national TV 5 times a week blaming Glen Beck for the shootings in PA becaue Beck is pro gun. How many people has Glen Beck killed? 0

FPS is disappointing, hopefully they give us more than one option.

US ship captain is freed when Navy Seal Snipers kill pirates
HogWild_101st replied to Nemesis's topic in Playstation
The SEAL's were probably under the boat the whole time. I have no details, just guessing. The hostage had to jump out of the life boat again, this time the U.S. Navy was ready. Nice job Navy. -
I need help.. Probably the weirdest question ever on UF...

Just don't kill it, it will spray and then you will have big problems. When one would get run over, you could smell it for a mile away if the wind was right. -
What's Your Most Anticipated Game Coming Up?
HogWild_101st replied to -SouthwoodS-'s topic in Playstation
I don't know aobut that. These small maps that allow only two ways in, that's a snipers wet dream. But a more open map, like Killing Fields? Where you aren't forced to take path "A" or path "B", makes scoping targets a little more difficult. Snipers will play a role in the overall team concept, but just one piece of the puzzle, is my prediciton. I hope the MAG maps make the S3 maps look small. I loved that concept, didn't care much for the game play but the concept is definately solid.- 64 replies

Yea, it will be as realistic as flying a jet on HAWX. Why can't these people just make games? Don't they understand humans play games to escape reality for a little while and have FUN? "Horrors of war in a game that is also entertaining". Who is the Peter Tamte, aside from the biggest idiot on the planet?

Calling something a noob weapon, is the same as those who complain when someone is up in the round count and dont' run around and make easy targets of themselves and those complaining forget that they were camping to begin with and got behind in the round count that way. It's all to make you play the game on their terms. Used to be only two indisputable facts, that being death and taxes. We can add a 3rd. SOCOM has whiners, always had, always will.

:-X Not allowed to talk politics. Restraint Hog, show restraint.... But that liberal sissy does look better with green hair. That's a fashion statement by the way and has nothing to do with politics....

Maybe you two should get a room.... just sayin'.

Stop the UPDATES. I'm tired of re-learning the game after each update. The game has faults. I understand. Please stop switching the faults around. Does /Sux have no soul?

Now that's ef^..... Too damn funny. A perfect way to start off the weekend with a big hearty laugh. Thanks.

Greeeeaaaaaaaat.... Making it easier to send text messages to people playing in games. I wasn't getting enough of those.

What can they break this time....? Let's do some predictions. Your grenades will now have a string attached, so that you can easily find it after you throw it. VIP's will actually follow you. When you get the VIP's into the extract, the helicopter will actually show up everytime.

Is it stress.....or am iI just hi strung...

You are entirely too sensetive..... If you are going to measure yourself on what other people say about you, you are in deep trouble already. If I want a look at myself to get a measurement of where I stand, I look in a mirror and I look at my life. Then I make up my own mind. Allow me to elaborate..... 101st recently played a clan in a Quarentine Elimination map (not a UF match, public room), they came in and greened up. And then they hid like a bunch of 10 year old school girls. In the water somewhat. We went looking for them, killed a bunch, but they did too with claymores and rockets in their spawn that they didn't dare leave. The map ended 0 - freaking - 0 and Confronation declared them the winner. Next map came up, and they bolted talking massive shit. Did it affect me or my clan? Not in the slightest. We were looking forward to the next map and prayed it wasn't something they could camp. How lame do you have to be in order to play an 16v Elimination like that? And then talk trash after it's over? But one has to laugh, it must really suck to be that lame. They can talk all they want. But that's the first Confrontation map I have ever played that ended 0-0. Let me get those sissy's on a Frostfire or Desert Glory. They'll be calling the Rape Assistance Line in 2 seconds flat. -
I got it, just what this place is missing. Beer and Hooter girls.

I have a suggestion. If MAG turns out to be good, and you can actually play in one room with 256 players, UF has to come up with a way to have competitions like that. I have an idea of how to do that. Have two MAG arena's of competition. 1. Single clan only. Max 20 vs 20 wars. Normal UF formats in Black and Tac Map. 2. Full out assault wars up to 256 players per match. UF clans can form alliances into a single team or "company" and compete that way. Since I doubt any clan is going to maintain more than 128 active players themselves. 3 or 4 clans can form one company for a massive war once a week. Also, one of our "company's" could challenge clans from other tournament sights for bragging rights wars, all in good fun. #2 would be off the chain kind of sick....

Very interesting read I found on the Socom forums

I was making a joke..... Of total rounds should be an uneven number, and you play until there is a winner. Not joking, get rid of Elimination. I feel like I am playing against 10 year old school girls on that map because they all hide like one when the shooting starts. -

Ya know.... I have always found, that having the most rounds won at the end of the game prevents ties from occuring in the first place. It's not exactly rocket science, but it seems to work. -
Huh....? UF got something going on?

We have one member in our clan that is under 18, Godsend is her name and she's 14, her dad is in the clan too, his name is stj0e. We were playing, Godsend on my side and her dad stj0e was on the other side. I killed stj0e two rounds in a row, and then this happened: Godsend: Oh Hog, my dad just called you a bad name. Hog: What did he call me? Godsend: He called you... uh... a son of a female dog. I laughed for a week.
