  1. You guys already had your draft marine? We are waiting till after pre season for ours. We play at espn.
  2. http://www.crunchgear.com/2010/08/24/is-toshiba-ready-to-offer-glasses-free-3d-tvs-by-year-end/ 3D TVs that don’t require glasses and thus eliminate the incompatibility problem between glasses offered by different makers: that doesn’t sound too bad, does it? Rumors about such TVs coming from Toshiba emerged today in various media [JP] in Japan, and according to those reports, the devices are expected to arrive in Japan by year-end. And if the rumors are to be believed, potential buyers will be able to choose between three different models, which could be sized at about 21 inches. The displays are reportedly offering a relatively wide viewing angle, which makes it possible to view 3D images for more than one person and from more than just one position (unlike in the case of the Nintendo 3DS, for example, which requires users to look straight at the device at all times). This sounds like the glasses-free 3D display Toshiba showed back in April (pictured above) and which features WXGA (1,280×800) resolution, 480 cd/m2 brightness, and ±15 degrees (horizontal) 3D viewing angle. Toshiba is apparently planning to price the 3D TVs at “several hundred thousand yenâ€, whatever that may mean (100,000 Yen currently translate to $1,180). Japanese IT news site Impress just posted an official statement [JP] from Toshiba. The company says it can’t confirm the reports and that it’s not able to go into details such as technical specs at this point. Toshiba also says it’s currently investigating how future 3D TVs can look like and when it’s the best time for commercialization.
  3. My Niners are gonna run over all! That is all carry on.
  4. PC FTW! This should allow the PC community to make their own maps and tweak game settings to turn off cheap guns and kill streaks. I guess we'll have to wait and see all the options that are available but it will be a lot more than on a console for sure.
  5. That's cool Mike I didn't realize this was based on a true story.
  6. The defense didn't even put up a fight.. I'm pretty sure a retrial won't go any better especially if it involves the same DA. A hung jury is a hung jury the chances of there being 2 or 3 holdouts in another trial are probably the same. A case this big and they they tried to coast by on the bare bones? That alone should tell you something is wrong with this picture. Any prosecutor with a legitimate case would have went in there and killed it to beyond the shadow of a doubt yet for some reason that didn't happen in this case. Honestly I think there are implications in this case that go higher up the food chain that would have to be exposed in order for this case to be proved.
  7. Your correct i assumed the ® was meant for Republican my mistake. Anyway more on topic the prosecution failed to make it's case which is the primary reason why this ended in a mistrial. Honestly this case doesn't completely pass the smell test similar to the Duke lacrosse case.
  8. Those are the moments myself and a ton of people we had all wanting to play together in the ACC were all looking forward to and then we found out that you could only get 8 in a group. It's really difficult to have and impact on a 256 or 128 player battlefield when you only have 8 guys. Depending on the other 56 people on your team to do their jobs and not being able to communicate with them was very frustrating. Most people I know just put this game on the shelf or traded it in. It's been what almost a year now? It's going to be hard to get people interested in a game that is a year old and that left such a bad taste in their mouths.
  9. I thought the first one was great especially on co op not so much on the single player. It would have been better on PC and I will be buying this next one on PC for sure. Console players get screwed on games like this that were built for PC and ported over to consoles. The graphics look better on PC and you get the mission editors to fool around with. The only thing that I thought was falsely advertised was the sand box environment I was under the impression that we could go anywhere and take on missions however we wanted to. Some of my best co op moments ever were had on this game and I look forward to the next one on PC.
  10. That ® is actually a (d)... Just saying
  11. No problem Dub wish we could have got you all the way. I was really surprised by the third round voting I wasn't expecting so many people to get so many votes.
  12. Cool now I just have to see if I can find enough people that want to play this game to fill up a platoon.
  13. LMAO did you make these up or are they real?
  14. I don't want to have to do a countdown to Q up at the same time and hope we get in the same game and I don't want to have to glitch the game either. I don't think that the masses will ever come back to this game it's been to long and had to many bad changes made to it. Zipper should have known better than to release this game with 8 person groups and it's one of the first things they should have corrected. I still have my disc but the chances of me putting it in and playing anytime soon are pretty slim.
  15. 8 person parties in a 256 player game really sucked when/if they fix that I might come back.
  16. Happy Birthday AC have a great one. Where I come from we give the person having a birthday something nice to look at...
  17. Your computer will save files you downloaded in most cases in your documents folder. What version of windows are you using? If your using fire fox go to the tools menu at the top click downloads and then double click the file you just downloaded. This will accomplish the same thing as finding where it is located on your computer.
  18. It sounds like Avast is not able to handle whatever it is that you have going on. Try the Generals link and let us know what happens. There is a huge scam going on to steal peoples bank accounts right now and you might unwillingly be a part of it. It hit the UK first but that doesn't mean much. These types of things like to hide themselves in the adverts of various websites. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1302062/New-trojan-virus-Zeus-v3-empties-online-bank-accounts.html
  19. Yes you probably should be concerned. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rootkit A rootkit is a collection of tools (programs) that enable administrator-level access to a computer or computer network. Typically, a cracker installs a rootkit on a computer after first obtaining user-level access, either by exploiting a known vulnerability or cracking a password. Once the rootkit is installed, it allows the attacker to mask intrusion and gain root or privileged access to the computer and, possibly, other machines on the network. Although rootkits can serve a variety of ends, they have gained notoriety as malware, appropriating computing resources without the knowledge of the administrators or users of affected systems. Rootkits can target the BIOS, hypervisor, boot loader, kernel or less commonly, libraries or applications. The term rootkit is a concatenation of the administrative account in (primarily) Unix operating systems (root user account) and the word "kit", which refers to the software components that implement the tool.
  20. It's videos like this that make youtube a gold mine. The creativity of some people is nothing short of amazing. This video some of the funniest stuff I have seen in a while. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XN33pZChsvA&feature=player_embedded
  21. Everyone wants a piece of the income that the COD series generates. It's dollars and cents and now Devs are to the point where they aren't ashamed to admit it. The Co op was by far the best part of Dragon Rising they should just focus on that.
  22. I have to agree with chili there will be people who just flat out won't want to deal with growing their own or going over to a dope dealers house to pick some up. The marijuana market will be diverse.
