    i have 4gb of RAM on my mac, and my dad since he works in the medical physics has more RAM on his PC, and he is always borrowing my mac laptop to do shit on. The file compatability between different programs on mac is like future technology compared to PC. of course this is like a political debate, everyone has their own set ideas and opinions.
