Most games stole modes from other games. Counter Strike created most. I believe Halo created CTF... It would be nice to see some new stuff come up. I think I will get both. However, I think BF3 will be way better on PC so I'll be looking into that.

I presume regular multiplayer. Most of this footage is from the COD XP event that took place this weekend. The whole dog tag mode is a separate mode. I have seen footage of regular TDM.

The thing is though with bigger map games, it may not be die spawn die, its spawn-run a mile-die-spawn-run a mile-die... Now that I have played a 1-life game, I am more keen to play modes like Search n Destroy, a 1-life round based mode.

Yeah, its basically a $60 DLC for MW2... but I did have fun playing MW2...

Thoughts? It looks like a repackaged MW2, but I don't think that is such a bad thing at this point... What that means at the least is that it will be fun to play. With the COD Elite stuff, it could really help build new clans and reinforce others.

I disagree, people make the argument about mouse/keyboard, but I think the ability to move is just as valuable. Moving around quickly is easier on controller. -
It has slowed in the last few years. My brother's video card will still power through most new games even though it is 2 years old now. For awhile there it was every 6 months.

Very true. I remember playing some custom Zombie maps on COD:WAW on PC. It's funny because many of the things you see in Black Ops Zombies were ideas created by the toolbox PC community on WAW...

In my mind CS doesnt even compare to other games out there. But is an example of a game that gets played for a long time. Why is that? My guess would be balanced game play.

I don't get why people still play old games...? I know of people who play games like Confrontation and MW2, just blows my mind.

It is definitely more of a Halo type of game. But even then it still doesnt take as many shots as that does. This game definitely rewards those with great accuracy and quick reflexes.

I think one thing that is overlooked by Zipper/Sony is that most Socom players may be looking to try other games now... I am concerned that this is just simply too late. There are some big titles coming out come September.
