  1. It was a great match! Welcome to UF!
  2. Just picked up a tablet, looking to sell my old laptop I bought in 2007. Asus G2S-A1 17" http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220185 Core 2 Duo T7500 2GB DDR2 160 GB Need a new battery, looking for $300.
  3. Looks like I can get a pretty penny for my MGS4 80g PS3...
  4. I love Asus. If I end up getting this tablet, I will be installing custom Roms and overclocking it a bit. Battery rating with the keyboard attachment is 16+ hours! What I am at at this point is tablets a valid replacement for a laptop at this point?
  5. Anyone out there have any experience with Tablets? Trying to decide whether or not to sell my laptop and pick up one of these: http://www.asus.com/Eee/Eee_Pad/Eee_Pad_Transformer_TF101/ . I currently have an ASUS G2S-A1 (Newegg.com) and I figure I can get $325 for it. Then I would only have to spend about $200 to pick one of these up. Looking for a near laptop replacement for school and some graphics capabilities.
  6. For those who haven't thrown Black Ops in the trash or traded it in for cold hard cash or if you are patiently waiting for the big hits in the fall, Urgent Fury is hosting Weekend Tournament which will take place on Saturday, July 30th, on Call of Duty: Black Ops. Matches will start promptly at 9pm CST. Teams will be placed into a bracket and will play 4v4 single elimination with rounds starting on the hour every hour. Rosters are allowed to be a maximum of 6 for this event. The first Weekend Warrior tournament will feature a never before seen game mode on any Call of Duty tournament, dubbed "DEMOTAGE" will feature a interesting twist on the standard Sabotage rule set. Unlike regular Sabotage where teams can run around like headless chickens, in DEMOTAGE, teams will be forced to work as a unit to complete the objective. Each member of your squad will be given one life each round to accomplish your mission, which is to kill the opposing team or plant the bomb and destroy their base. Applications are due Wednesday, July 27th, and Invites are due Friday, July 29th. This ain't your ordinary Call of Duty tournament... THIS IS WEEKEND WARRIOR. Be sure to keep your eye out for future Weekend Tournaments only at Urgent Fury where new and challenging twists will be thrown straight at your face! Apply Now! Click Here

  8. I need to talk to you about my Epic... Also, I've been selling Sprint phones this summer.. so I know quite a bit about them now. You have 3 phones there that are all unique. What they do have in common obviously is Android. Epics will be getting 2.3 any day now, so really software wise they really are not much different. The Shift and Epic are slider phones while the Nexus is just a touchscreen. What you have to ask yourself about that is will you feel comfortable just using a virtual keyboard or do you need a real one? I previously had a Blackberry and wasn't sure if I was going to like virtual or not. The Shift is a little brother of the Evo as it has a 800MHz CPU while the Epic and Nexus have a 1GHz (+200MHz). The Epic and Nexus are going to be able to power through multitasking better than the Shift. They all have 512MB RAM. The Epic comes preloaded with a 16GB Class 2 microSD card, the Shift comes with a 2GB and Nexus does not have an expansion slot for additional memory (however it does have 16GB of ROM built in). The Epic and Shift both can capture 720p video while the Nexus only has DVD quality resolution on its recordings. If size of the phone is important, the Shift is by far the smallest and the Nexus is the thinnest. The Epic fits somewhere in between. Other than that, which phone you want is really up to what you are looking for personally. They are all quite powerful phones, so what it really comes down to is what fits you better. Do you need a physical keyboard? Is overall size of the phone a concern? Data storage? Cost? Nexus is the most expensive of the bunch right now. Where I work, we are selling the Epic for $44, Shift for $25, if we had the Nexus it would likely be about $130. What sold me on the Epic was the quality of the Super AMOLED screen (Nexus also has). The colors and contrast is gives when comparing it to the HTC screens is astounding. When I was at the Sprint store looking at their demos, the comparison wasn't even close. One cool note is that the AMOLED screen does not require any additional power to display blacks which saves battery (not sure how much, but it does). Also as I said I had a dataless Blackberry on TMobile and I felt that I would need the keyboard, so the physical keyboard was a plus for me personally, might be a minus for others. HTC makes great products and I have been quite pleased with my Epic. Hope that helps!
  9. Even amidst all of the rather uninspiring technical issues of this game, for some reason I still can't get enough of the clan challenges to satisfy myself. Every time I think, "this game sucks," I am reminded that there are not many other interesting games with the clan support that this game possesses. It is my opinion that in the case of Socom 4 we have a prime example of what happens when developers put too much work into the gameplay of the development process and not enough into the core of the game. Many other big titles have but tremendous amounts of effort into making sure the game works and is playable but not enough into gameplay, balancing, and tweaking. Other big companies motto is to create a working game, then iron out the kinks later. While I have always craved for a game that would put gameplay aspects first, like Zipper has, I am beginning to appreciate what other game developers do with their games. Not being able to play with your friends is disappointing. Getting killed as you spawn in classic was just unacceptable. Having severs mass boot everyone is nearly game breaking. What is truly troublesome is the fact that gamers should expect these problems to occur when a game is developed by a new studio not a seasoned veteran. Honestly this game reminds me of Medal of Honor. So much time and effort was put into making a single-player experience that was a clear upgrade from past releases and yet the multiplayer side was put in almost as an afterthought. MOH did not have any support what so ever for private rooms or clan challenges. The party system was just a shell of what Zipper has finally given its fans; you couldn't even talk to each other in your party nor would it keep your party on the same side. Even though I could not get enough of the gameplay from MOH--the maps were perfect, DICE even developed maps for each game mode--but without any sort of clan support that game died quickly for me. To date I have put more time in on Socom 4 than MOH, even though I consider MOH game play to be superior and much more in depth than Socom 4. I just can't get enough of the clan challenges...
  10. Google is taking over the world! Need an invite, won't let me in...
  11. What is "Googel"?
  12. There are not many things that make me say "WOW", this was one of those times!
  13. Make people have to decide upon which attachment to use. Example: PDW - Make players have to decide between faster fire rate, extended mag, or silencer. This will allow for more decisions, choices in your setup and will provide a more unique game play experience.
  14. Party system sounds quite interesting.
  15. I froze trying to delete someone on Socom. I guess just don't get on the PS3 then.
  16. So when I put the code in that is on the back of the instruction book, it brings up the SU90 and Abandoned Map for download. When I go to the store and click "download" on the Pro, it says this content has already been downloaded...? Then I tried joining a Pro room and it says I don't have access. WTF?
  17. Holy heck! Socom 4 is fun. Did I mention it is fun? Coffee is disgusting. Gimmie a pale ale!
  18. LMAO, I had to ask TuSiK if that was what it was from as well. lol
  19. How do I do it if the posts span across several threads?
