that is either awesome or ridiculous lol. id take it though, as long as someone else wanted to pick up the power bill each month. as for the game, iracing is pretty intense. its a hardcore simulator. theres not a lot to compare with it right now, but project cars will be close when its released.

books wont make you a better supervisor. from my experience, and this is only my opinion based on that experience, theres two things you should consider to be a good supervisor. 1. think about the supervisors youve had in the past. what made each one good and bad? why did you like one and not another? more than likely, the things that made you like a supervisor made everyone like that supervisor. try to learn from what each of those people offered. 2. this is very important. upper management may choose you to be the supervisor, but its the people below you that choose you to be their leader. dont ever put your self above them. i had a lot of respect from the workers and contractors i dealt with on a daily basis because i would teach new guys and help crews with jobs, although my job was only to watch them, correct mistakes, assign work, and report back to the company office. this got me in a little trouble because my bosses wanted me doing less hands on, and more paper shuffling. im not really familiar with what you do, so any advice i can give you will have to be translated to fit your situation. but im happy to help if any of this is of benifit to you.

if there is a 6 month delay in private servers, that would make them available just about the same time that the division and mgs 5 drop, making the servers pretty much useless lol.

i was a supervisor for an oilfield company for a few years, and the best thing i could tell you is to find a way to make it interactive. if you can find a way to include the group your teaching, they have more fun and participation keeps their interest. i would also vote against outdoors. too many distractions usually, unless its something that requires an outdoor environment. i did a lot of various safety training for our employees. it gets boring fast, and is usually repeated yearly, so keeping it interesting was always a challenge.

supposedly (lol) one of the devs on hardline is a pretty active redditor, and has posted that the private servers will not be available at launch, and could be as far out as 6 months, although he is pushing for a much smaller delay. note - this is info i read, in a post by someone who read the devs post on reddit, so i am in no way claiming this to be gospel

The Skull and Bones clan is looking to make a return to competitive gaming here at Urgent Fury. For those who dont know us, we have been around for 8 years, and many of us played at UF with other clans before SxB was started. We competed in many UF events throughout the years, and have one tacmap championship under our belt. We will be moving into Battlefield:Hardline with a good roster, as well as many players looking for competitive racing on Project Cars. We are hoping to see some of the old guard here, as well as meet many new people in the next few months.

my clan is looking to make a return to urgent fury with the release of hardline, but we are wondering if there are any other interested clans, or if urgent fury has any plans to run a tournament for this game. we look forward to playing here again, as we have been out of competitive gaming for quite some time.

hey iridium... what games do you know of that have been ported to pc? every game built by every publisher is created on a pc. for years now, the standard pc game has been written for directcx, which the xbox 360 utilized, and which is a huge reason xbox saw games and patches earlier than ps3 guys. the ps4 is finally going to have directx so there will be no more ports for the playstation faithful. but I really want to know where your info is coming from? name one game dreated on a console and ported to a pc

I watched the reveal again last night, I read a bunch of articles on various gaming websites, then I saw an advertisement for gamefly on a banner. got me thinking, I rent a game, install it, then have to pay ms to play it. I send it back, and a week later shane rents the same game, and has to pay ms to play it. then he sends it back, and a third, fourth, and fifth person rent the same copy of the same game. so now 5 people have paid to play that game, that was purchased once by gamefly, and rental fee paid by myself, shane, and 3 other people. so does gamefly send you a special code with the game that allows you to play without paying? maybe a discount? or does gamefly take a huge hit in memberships because Microsoft has basically made the rental service too expensive? sorry shane, just used you as an example, no offense lol.

Cloud only contains game saves and achievements doesnt it? Redeem codes would be cool. Thousands of people scamming Microsoft to get codes to play used games for free lol

Since were talkin xbox one, i got a question nobodies seemed to mention. If you install a game, its linked to your console. If your console dies, and you replace it, do you have to pay to play your owm game again?

I watched the release. I was curious about the xbox. when it was over, I went into the living room, and I looked at what I had there. I have a Samsung smart tv. it has Netflix and hulu on it, it has a list of my favorite shows, and it also has a screen on screen that will display my facebook, twitter, or any other social feeds of my choosing. with my cable, I can record shows, get movies on demand, search for damn near anything. only thing I cant do is talk to it and tell it to change channels. I do have a remote though, saving me the effort of making sounds by allowing me to stay perched on my ass and move only one finger at a time. so it seems I already have an xbox one in my living room. oh, wait. I forgot, you can play games on the xbox one. that's good, because im pretty sure that is why I watched the reveal. to check out the future of gaming. thank god they showed that little blip of forza cutscenes, and gave Extremely Atrocious Sports a few minutes of promo time. im a gamer, and im going to play games. im going to play single player OFFLINE, im going to trade old games for used games, and im going to continue doing it on my ps3 and soon enough, my ps4

Ive owned vcr's smaller than the xbox done

The first week i wasnt sure. Lots of bugs. Lots of connection issues. But its gotten better and better and i find myself playing it a lot. Its a mmo and important to remember that, but a 3rd person shooter mmo. I think its worth buyin, and i would recommend it to anyone lookin for good long term game.

We have about 6 clan guys playin this, but always lookin for more to do co-op maps and pursuits. If you play and wanna team up add me on psn.

i been moving, and havent been on so i just saw this thread. im not exactly sure what is going ion, and im not defending shane, but if i hired a host and had problems with my site, , then gave them admin rights to verify my site was working, i would expect the host rep to check every thread in every section to make sure everything was working properly... fault LPK if my host was also the owner of a tournament site, and i gave them admin privledges to check my site out and correct issues with it, and that person saw a thread titled "FUCK (insert tourney site here)" i would like to think that i could verify the inner workings of the site without reading that particular thread. some things on ours clan sites are truly private... fault shane if you give "bob" admin access to your site your pretty much giving "bob" access to anything there so you cant fault "bob" for reading a thread titled "fuck bobs mom". at the same time, "bob" should have had the knowledge to realize that this was a private thread amongst members, not publicly posted for just anyone to read, and should have distanced himself from anything relating to himself or his "mom". with that said, i wil first give credit to shane for apologizing, although it should not have been done here in a public setting. this should have been done privatley between you and LPK. secondly, i will ask the following questions: 1. LPK - did you tell shane what he could and could not access before giving him admin privledges? 2. shane - when you saw a thread entitled "fuck uf" did you not think to distance yourself from it? i am hosted by urgent fury, and shane personally took a lot of time to get things trasnfered for me with my old host because i dont know shit about hosting and url's and all of that. i really appreciate what he did for me and my clan. but i respect johnson, and always have from the day i joined urgent fury. i have a hard time seeing anyone in the wrong here, but i also have a hard time seeing anyone making any kind of accusations towards the other. as a host, ther was no violation at all because hosts with admin privledges do not know what is necessarily public or private, but as a host that particular admin should have realized that any thread titled with the name of another site he/she owns should be left alone due to conflict of interest.

im sure it was me too irish, lol. dont feel alone. ive wondered since day one why we had a political thread on a gaming site.
