i was checking out a lot of the things on these forums i never look at, and i looked at the "whose" online link at the bottom. there were 9 members and 71 guests online. when i clicked on it it showed me what each one was doing, which is a function im familiar with on my own forums, but never tried here. but one of the guests was looking at a thread started by uncle-sid25 of the +30 clan in 2009. it was a thread about the release of hawx. after looking at a few others, i found a lot of the guests looking at threads 18 months to 3 years old. are these guests simulated? are they bots or spiders or something? if they are, what exactly do they do? is there some kind of tracking that requires this site to have a certain number of hits a day that requires these "guests" to cruise old threads each day? also, it got me wondering, is that why clans have to have every member that wants to play in a tournament register here? does the site need to have a certain number of registered members for some reason? ive had a forum for a little over four years, but im very unfamiliar with a lot of the little functions so any kind of ex[lanation swould be greatly appreciated.

what if a new clan wants to join uf, but does not play socom 4? do they have to all go buy it to participate in this tournament to become part of bf3, mw3, or starhawk tournaments?

i was a pc player for a long time before i got my ps3. i played a lot of the old battlefield games. played counterstrike. a lot of the old original shooters. one thign pc has always provided was rent-a-servers. they were greta cuz you could find mod servers, no glitch servers, game specific servers. you always got what you paid for and the host always could kick anyone that did not play to the rules of the server. also, if there was ever a complaint about a server, you turned in a ticket and it was fixed immediatly. when your paying for somethign, it seems to get fixed pretty fast. even xbox live seems to run a lot better than the psn, but again, when yuor income source is the servers and not the store or premium membership, you have a tendency to take better care of things. ive been a firm believer for years i would pay to play on the psn and would love to see private servers for many of the game s we constantly bitch about. if im gonna pay 60 bucks for a game, i wanna be able to play online without complaint. a few bucks a month for a private server is well worth it in overall gameplay experience.

i havent seen any of it. ive heard its a glee rip off. other than katherin mcphee bein in it, i cant think of any reason to watch. try spartacus:vengance on friday nights. its a much better use of your time :-)

skull and bones had two rosters ready to sign up, and we had a sister clan that wanted to join, but due to a lack of maps and game modes being posted i could not keep my guys interested in a blind tournament so i cannot guarentee we still have the players for it.

i got a lot of hours on skyrim, n from the demo this one just loks to arcadish to me. i might check it out when it somes out, but not gettin my hopes up

remember one thing irish, and anyone else that is looking into this. you can do everything to upgrtade your speeds. better isp, better router or modem, whatever. but based on the party your in and the speeds of people playing with you, your speed is always going to be based on everyone in the room.

im not sure which game your refereing to irish, if any in particular, but on mw3 i can tell you how it works. when i play alone, it matches me to the best possible host and connection, so i get into a room with people fairly close to my ping. when im in a party, the game matches us based on the parties best connection, so the others in my party may or may not have a better ping than me. sometimes i lag when others dont, and sometimes i have no problems at all while others complain. i be willing to bet that this is pretty much true for any game.

i was wondering if anyone else here has gotten addicted to this game? i think ive played about 4 billion hours now in the last month and finished most storylines. has anyone else played, and what kind of character build did you go with?

To your knowledge, have you or any member of your clan been suspended from Urgent Fury for any reason? Please make sure you use due diligence in making sure this answer is accurate. Answering yes will not automatically bar you from playing at Urgent Fury. No If you answered yes to above, please explain its a maybe actually, dont think any of my guys are banned or suspended anymore though, happened long ago around the release date of MW2, i dont even remember the details. before you edited your post, these were your original responses. your answer to the first post was no, but you had been suspended and remain suspended. you have known you were at one time suspended for glitching, and yet you respond thta you have never been banned from urgent fury? secondly, if your not sure if any or all of your guys are banned, then maybe before introducing a new clan you should have checked with the staff or directors to see were you stand. to be honest, if i remember all events correctly, your clan itself wasnt really the problem, it was you and admitted glitching in game. you were a perfect example of one ruining things for all.

i am thankful that i pretty much lost everything in the last 18 months. im thankful of that because in the last 6 months i have gained some things that truly hold value. family, friends, and the love of my life. when you lose it all, you find out that the things left over are the ones you really needed.

WEW #4: ROAD RAGE - august 20th 8 p.m. cst Race Rules 1. Cars are to remain on the track at all times under the course of normal racing. Cutting corners/chicanes will not be allowed in any circumstance. If a driver is seen proceeding through a corner, or overtaking an opponent, with more than two (2) tires outside of the legal racetrack, they will be asked to surrender at least one spot.. 2. In the event you collide with another car, and force them off the race track, you will be expected to fall into position behind that car once it re-enters the track, regardless of the number of positions you lose. 3. In the event you are being lapped by another driver, that driver must give you a verbal warning that they are approaching, and must relay which side they are taking you on. In turn, you must move to the opposite side of the track and let that driver pass. 4. All cars used must be available through the dealerships, used car dealer, online dealership, or prize cars from racing events. NO STEALTH, CHROME LINE, OR SPECIAL TICKET CARS ALLOWED. 5. Boost will be set to low for each race. Tire wear and fuel consumption will be turned on. Mechanical damage will be set to light. Some races may be ran with boost turned off for competitive reasons. 6. In the event of a major crash during the first lap of a race, the race may be restarted with the consent of all drivers on the track. If a restart is called for, all drivers will be expected to immediately leave the track. 7. During the final lap of each race, one defensive maneuver will be allowed in the final stretch to the finish line. This move must be made while the opponent is behind you, and may not include purposeful contact with another car. It may only consist of one move to defend a racing line. 8. In any race, the winning automobile may be called in for a random tech inspection. If this happens, the car must be gifted to the race league moderator immediately for inspection of all race rule criteria, including horsepower, weight, performance points, and modification limitations. Refusal to comply with inspection for any reason will result in immediate disqualification from that event and a 10 point reduction in championship points. In the event a racer has less than 10 championship[ points, the racers points will be reset to zero. 9. Each racer will recieve points for his/her finishing position in each race. points will be awarded as such: 1st: 16 points, 2nd: 15 points, 3rd: 14 points, and so on down to the 16th position recieving 1 point. Final standings of the night wil be based on the total points accumulated for all 4 events. 10. Race Schedule: races will start at the following times. all drivers wil lbe expected to be on the track at the start time of each race. if you miss the start time, then you may spectate and participate in the following race. race 1: 8:00 p.m. cst race 2: 8:35 p.m. cst race 3: 9:10 p.m. cst race 4: 9:45 p.m. cst 11. Race Events Race 1 - grand valley east - 16 laps - any car up to 375 performance points Race 2 - deep forrest raceway - 16 laps - any car up to 425 performance points Race 3 - tokyo r246 - 16 laps - any car up to 475 performance points Race 4 - high speed ring - 16 laps - any car up to 525 performance points 12 AWARDS: the top 3 points earners at the end of the night will recieve the folowing: 1st - gold chrome car, helmet, race suit 2nd - silver chrome car, helmet, race suit 3rd - matte paint car, helmet, race suit 13.
