Anyone having issues

Everytime I come to the site and it must be ad specific because I get a virus (trojan horse) warning. I can't figure out what is causing it but this is the only site it does it. Does anyone have any ideas? I have done a scan and nothing is on my computer. I use Kasperski so is there a way to isolate what is causing it in case it is something from the ads?

so i came home last night form work. i go in the bedroom and my girlfriend is in bed with another chick. so, at first no biggie. but then, this large colored guy comes outta the bathroom. this guy was big, and i mean that in many ways. so now i know shes fuckign around for sure. before i can say anytihng,the door hits me in the back, and a tall skinny guy walks in with some food outta my fridge. he sees me and asks if om hungry? so now im mad as fuck, so i go to the computer room, and there is a chick and a guy doin it in my desk chair, and they got porn on both screens and my fucking credit card layin on the keyboard. i just left.

 

so now im sittin in a motel room, using the wifi on my laptop and posting here. so you wanna ask if i have issues. dumb question man. really dumb fucking question

I got it too. Shut it down immediately because I just reformatted my drive last week because of a virus and I am soooo afraid I am going to get another one.

ive had that same virus 4 times. at first i attributed it to facebook, so i totally deleted my fb account. the 3rd time, i thought it may have been hiding on my pc so i reformatted the hard drive. i got it a 4th time just recently, and now im wonderin if i have found the culprit. i only visit 3 sites on a daily basis, and this is one of em.

same thing happened to me last weekend i had to restore my comp to factory setting to get rid of the damn thing. everything i tried didnt work and it wouldnt let me use half the shit on my comp. once i restored it to factory settings it was gone and everything worked fine.

I posted a screenshot of the trojan I got which was the Antispyware soft one. It sucked to remove it since I couldn't kill the process. It took over a lot of things and would automatically shut down andy anti-spyware software I wanted to use and even killed the task manager when I called it up to try and kill the process. I had to search all over the place for ways of getting rid of this thing since it wouldn't even let me use anti-spyware remove software in safe mode. Finally I found a little script called rkill that basically kills any trojan process and then I was able to use my software to get rid of it.

 

The worst part of this is that I check this site from work and working for the government, I got some not so nice emails from the admins regarding the trojan.

For those of you using Firefox one suggestion that I have is to download the add on Adblock plus. Ever since I downloaded this I have never had a problem. It disables the ads and you dont see them at all. Here is the link: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865/ .

 

Also when I do get something a program that I use that detects things that my Nortons misses and has removed all pain in the ass trojans that may come my way is Super anti spyware. It is free and highly recommended here is the link: http://www.superantispyware.com/ .

 

Once I get rid of the problem I always follow it up with a cleaner. The one I suggest is Ccleaner, here is a description of it : http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/features . It also fixes any registry problems you may be having. It is free and here is the link to download it, upper right hand corner it there is a green button that says download latest version just click on that. http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner.

 

For those that are skeptical or worried about catching something from downloading these I have them both on my personal laptop, three computers at work, my moms computer and my sisters home and work computer. Both these programs work great.

All of these software that mikejaxon mentioned are great, but for added security, you should always download them from Download.com since they always run a scan on all their software uploaded to their system and always have the most up to date one. You never know when you might be redirected to a malicious website advertising an anti-spyware software and you're not going to be getting what you're expecting.

I'm glad you posted a screenshot. What I'd like to see is full disclosure on UF's part here. I know it's not their

fault since the source was an ad company, but I'd like to hear something official as far as what virus or viruses

were being served through the ads.

This issue has been found and the ad that contained this has been removed. We are working on finding out JUST HOW it became an issue in the first place. I myself had the same issue a while back and had to go well beyond my comfort zone to get it taken care of. We dont take this lightly at ALL.

 

You should have no other issues with this sight. We will do our best to monitor any and all ads for quality assurance.

Just two minutes ago, while reading UF, I got this:

 

 

 

As you can see, its the only tab I have open on Chrome, and the only other programs running is my auto-protect, and disc clean up.

I do not feel like it's safe to visit UF with the ads in place. I understand it makes UF money, but it would only cost me money if my boss found out I got a virus from the site.

This has been resolved guys but if this does happen you have to provide the ads in the screen shot...

 

I was able to replicate this on another machine that did not have AVG and removed the ad company, the only ads we have now are ours (includes BradyGames0 and Google
