In COD4 whats the golden gun for the sniper rifles

I just started to try and complete all the challenges and was just wondering. I don't think I've run into anyone that Had a golden sniper riffle yet.

I snipe often, and to my knowledge there's no "golden gun" that works best. It all depends on the shooter, I've yet to pick up a sniper rifle from a body that has been the same. And it all changes because of the perks you can carry.

haha yea i meant which one becomes golden after completing all of the sniper challenges. I'm sure ill find out in a month or so but my guess would be a golden r700 just because hardly anyone uses it and I'm sure there are players out there that have golden the golden sniper riffle if there is one

A buddy in my clan had all of the gold gun challenges done, but has since went into prestige mode. If you're looking to go for a gold gun, I wouldn't recommend the sniper. When all is said and done, you have a gold sniper rifle but people won't notice it due to you being in scope. It's not that great looking either, as isn't the AK-47. If you're looking to get a gold gun, go with the Uzi. Only took me three days to do and looks great.

3 days? damn bro you must log some milage on that PS3. I play about 3-4 hours a day (playing random map types- whatever the clan is playing) and it would take me about 3 weeks... :-[
