TOW-19 Posted May 4, 2007 Report Posted May 4, 2007 We'd just like to release that Sniper and I, undoubtedly, have UF4 SCHEDULED to last ONLY 3-months and 1-week. 13 weeks total....the SHORTEST running UF Tacmap-Tourney in UF history. This is not a hope, it's not a guess.....we have FINALIZED that UF4 will run only 13 weeks MAX, with the possibility of ending even earlier depending on the overall clan survival rate. SNIPER Posted May 5, 2007 Report Posted May 5, 2007 Yeah, one of the main problems with UF was the length. It would start out with a bang and just fizzle out ending with a lot of pissed off clans and everyone on each other's nerves. To be honest, we haven't had a successful ending to a UF tournament and the length was the reason why. People start getting tired, bored, antsy and that turns into frustration, anger, accusations, etc. Tow and I discussed this over the phone and our two creative little minds started brainstorming and we came up with the perfect resolution. UF4 will remain a scenario-based tournament fighting over territories and with new and exciting gameplay twists BUT with a definite cut-off date within a reasonable amount of time (3 months instead of 3 years....lol) so we will START with a bang and we WILL end with a bang. We are really excited about this and we wish we could've come up with this sooner but everything up until this point since we began with UF1 has been a learning process and we will only excel and continue to move forward. So for you clans that have yet to experience a UF tour of duty, you haven't missed anything because the best is yet to come....! Quote
