Gamestop.com UPDATE!!!

 

 

Reserve SOCOM: Confrontation and receive access to the multiplayer Team Beta.

 

Online / In-Store Pickup Customers: Your code and instructions will be emailed to you. Please provide a valid email address at time of reservation.

 

Store Customers: Your code and instructions will be provided at time of reservation. NOTE: Information will be available in stores beginning the week of 8/11. Please contact store to confirm availability.

Isn't it funny we get the info about the Beta from Gamestop and not Socom.com or even the PS Blog.

Then Socom would be favoring one retailer over another maybe.... you could say they still are here by just giving this out from GameStop, but they don't want to piss off Amazon or any of the others by announcing for just one.

About time they made this announcement. I've been waiting to pre-order mine until they sorted that out. I wonder if the people that pre-ordered early can go in and add an email to receive the beta?

It's not gonna start on the 11th just some info. Whenever it does start though, if you bought Qore, it starts 2 weeks after everyone else gets it.

If you got qore just for the beta, then you humped the pooch. They said when they released it that qore beta would start a few weeks after public beta opens. It should be that way. This way the real socom junkies will get to play a few weeks before the masses.

I went and reserved my copy today at GameStop. I asked the lady working about the Beta. She was clueless. I would highly recommend going into your local GameStop on the 11th and asking directly.
