Desert Shield/Storm Veteran.

 

 

 

Bro, I enlisted in hopes of graduating boot in time to make it Desert Storm. I enlisted in 91, and by the time I was "worthy", It was ending. I was pretty pissed. But none the less, ooorahhhh!

Yeah well we ended up with a Drill instructor -- got off the field to fight -- being stuck with us while out on that float --- took a while to deprogram him.

Yep I was. I was a reservist from '95 to '01. Combat engineer

 

My favorite memory was qualifying for sniper school and going only to be recalled three weeks into it because my reserve unit decided not to pay for it. I never understood why they allowed me to go in the first place. I was a reservist; I mean unless Sears is getting attacked I probably didn't need sniper qualification.

My cousin Travis is in the Army, he used to play SOCOM pretty often but was one of those few people who was always a solo act. He's 101st Airborne, 3rd Ranger Battalion, I haven't heard from him in month's so I'm not sure what he's up to, I just know he's not dead, last I knew though he was still fighting Sand People in the Afghani Mountains.

Thx Passion, I don't know where I got the idea from I just envisioned Kratos walking into Hades( like he has not been there enough, lmao) but I am glad it turned out ok, tho.

WoW, I know this is old but I am sure we have some new Military/exMilitary ppl that have joined the site since Feb. Plz comment and send out your support for all of the military personnel still fighting for us. Thanks again for what you guy are what your family members are doing.
