I just found out that my cable company WILL NOT ALLOW me to have more than TWO DVRS!@#$! WTF? We have 4 televisions and I want a DVR in each room or at the very least, the ability to receive dvr signal in each room so I can record stuff for my kids. I am going to test ATT for a month on their DSL and if it all goes well, then I am going to buy a magic jack for my phone, go with ATT for my internet and sign up with Direct TV for my tv viewing pleasure. Besides, I can get HD and DVR on ALL FOUR TVs with Direct for the SAME PRICE I pay for two DVRs in two rooms with regular cable in the other two rooms. And in the second two rooms, I don't get digital service, so we only get about 50 or so channels on those two televiisions.

Well, y'all have just about sold me! I just HAVE to be sure my hubs won't have a bit of trouble with gaming. Thanks for the input, fellas!

So does anyone around here have Direct TV? Pros and cons?

We have cable internet which give us up to 10 mbps download and 256 upload. I am thinking about changing over to an AT&T bundle to save some money and they offer 3 mbps download with 512 upload. Good idea or bad idea?

What a Legal Marijuana Economy Would Look Like

The problem with marijuana is that it metabolizes much slower than alcohol. You can smoke and then days later your drug test will show it in your system. Not true with alcohol. The question is how do they regulate that? At my husband's job, if you get hurt to the point that stitches are required or you wreck a vehicle, that is grounds for immediate drug testing. Assuming it's legal, what happens when you test positive for marijuana that was smoked days ago? It will be interesting to see how employers handle that. -

Click the little icon to the right of your address bar. I don't remember what the icon looks like, but when you hover it will say Compatibility mode. Also for the preview, click Go Advanced to the bottom right of the window you type your reply in.

Dude, I had all 4 cut out at the same time and since I was 36 when it was done, much worse than having it done when you are younger. I hurt for a few days and the healing SUCKED! I ended up getting some kind of infection in one. That was one of the worst things I have ever been through. I swear, healing from childbirth was easier!

Do they plug them in via HDMI cables to verify that they are working? Cause our HDMI port went out and I would LOVE to trade it in for $200!

x2 We have a fatty and "Santa" brought our son the new slim. We were able to put our master acct. onto it and then create our son's own user name. That way if we want to purchase anything, we just log in to our acct. and do what we need to do. It's no different than going to a friends house and logging in to your PSN on their system, really. -

How can this be an attempted attack on UF by proxy? You guys don't even use your gaming names so as to keep FW and UF separate. To now say that because FW was called out, that UF was attacked is just plain wrong. What is going on around here? This was an attack, by proxy, as John had stated because Phrag began this entire thread with: I feel ya. And I do not agree with how phrag presented it but considering the circumstances of UF owners being in the clan that is being called out, I can understand why somone would bring this to light under a false cover story. They way it was stated by John seems to connect FW and UF, in my opinion, when such great measures have been taken previously to keep the two separate. Had it been another clan, I don't think we would have heard "Yes, this was an attempted attack on [insert tag] and by proxy, UF ...." I guess you stated it better than I did. I see this as the waters getting muddy. Anyways, I'm really trying to stay out of this too, but it's just gotten plain wonky in here and I don't like wonky.

Calling out a clan under a false name so as not to be accused of "sour grapes"? Where is the objectivity by the owners of UF? How is UF affected by this? This is a FW issue, not a UF issue, regardless of how this was brought to light. So the manner in how this was brought to light is so horrible that they are not allowed to apply to hellweek? If that's the case then there are many instances where you need to go back and boot, ban, kick out clans and players.. Again, I ask, what is going on around here?
