    What on Earth? Infinity Ward community manager Robert Bowling has made a YouTube video of himself unboxing the absolutely epic "prestige edition" of Modern Warfare 2 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. When we say "epic," we're talking "it includes working night vision goggles" epic. Also in the box is a voucher code for downloading the previously rumored PSN/XBLA version of the original Call of Duty. This plus a steel game case, art book and a custom molded plastic head for displaying your working night vision goggles on. (But of course!) There's no mention of a retail price for the set, but we can't imagine it'll be anything less than stupid crazy expensive. We're also working to find out when and if Activision intends to distribute the downloadable remake of the CoD that started it all. Check out the unboxing after the break -- but only after ensuring that your socks are safely and securely pinned to your pants.     Killzone 2 DLC “Napalm & Cordite†and Map Pack Bundle Releasing Tomorrow Hey all, tomorrow our third DLC “Napalm & Cordite†will be released, allowing you to nail or toast your enemies with the addition of the Boltgun and Flamethrower. For those of you that might have only just picked up Killzone 2, or have not jumped on the DLC wagon yet, we’ve got an announcement to make. Also going live tomorrow is a Bundle of map packs Steel & Titanium, Flash & Thunder and Napalm & Cordite combined. And we are calling it the ‘Map Pack Bundle’, original I know, but it does what it says on the lid. The bundle is being offered as a “3 for the price of 2″ ($11.99).     No, you actually swim. Another cool thing to do is to play as a Scout and plant all three explosives around the flag. Wait for the enemy to show up and blow em' to hell. I did this from a sniper roost and watched two guys literally go flying through the air. I got 30 points, 20 for the two guys and 10 for the vehicle they showed up in. I do that all the time. You can't swim on the Coral Sea Map.

    The Napalm & Cordite downloadable map pack for Killzone 2 will be out this Thursday. Expected to be around the £3.99 ($5.99) mark, the pack adds "two exciting new multiplayer maps: Suljeva Cliffside, which takes place on the rocky outskirts of the Suljeva mining village; and Arctower Landing, which revisits the Arctower defense posts of Blood Meridian". It also lets you use the VC1 Flamethrower and semi-automatic Boltgun 4400 in multiplayer.

    COD: Map Pack 3 - first screens Battery: An armored island surrounded by anti-ship mines and shore to ship cannons, "Battery" places soldiers on a mid-sized map based on Fort Drum (El Fraile Island) in the Philippines. Expect plenty of areas to hide and heavy close quarters combat. Breach: Overwhelm the enemy in Breach, set in Berlin's overcast and crowded city streets surrounding the historic Brandenburg Gate. Only the fittest will survive in this fast-paced, dense battlefield. Revolution: Revolution pits soldiers against each other in Russia's cold city streets and large factory environment. Keep your fingers warm, your gun loaded, and your head low through this sniper-friendly territory. Der Riese (Zombie Factory): Fight for your life in Der Riese (Zombie Factory), an all-new Zombie map set in a secret Nazi research facility featuring the Pack A Punch Machine, a device capable of upgrading weapons at the touch of a button. Use the teleporters to escape the vicious Hell Hounds and pray that the Wunderwaffe will appear before it's too late. This map includes 10 new Achievements/Trophies.

    Call of Duty fans' heads are likely still swimming with the thought that they might own night vision goggles by year's end, but Activision's still cranking out Call of Duty: World at War DLC for fans living in the here and now. August will mark the release of the third map pack for the game, the company announced today. As with the second map pack, the three new maps ("Battery," "Revolution," and "Breach") have been developed in conjunction with Certain Affinity, the team of former Bungie guys behind Age of Booty. There's also a new zombie map, "Der Riese," provided for your brain-blasting pleasure.

    Killzone 2 Napalm & Cordite; The Weapons pack Napalm & Cordite, the new downloadable content pack for Killzone 2, contains two exciting new multiplayer maps: Suljeva Cliffside, which takes place on the rocky outskirts of the Suljeva mining village; and Arctower Landing, which revisits the Arctower defense posts of Blood Meridian. On top of that, the DLC pack allows you to wield a pair of weapons which were previously accessible only through the single player campaign! Napalm: The VC1 Flamethrower Found in the Suljeva Cliffside map, the VC1 Flamethrower projects an ignited stream of flammable liquid at high pressure. Consisting of low-octane gasoline and an unidentified component indigenous to Helghan, this form of Napalm is extremely effective for clearing out enemy trenches and bunkers. Cordite: The Boltgun 4400 Also known as “The Handymanâ€, the semi-automatic Boltgun 4400 can be picked up in the Arctower Landing map. It uses Cordite to propel metal bolts at an extremely high velocity, often pinning its targets to walls and other objects. In addition, each round contains a time-delayed explosive charge – so if impalement doesn’t finish the target off, the ensuing explosion will. Napalm & Cordite – an explosive cocktail Both of these weapons radically alter the Killzone 2 multiplayer dynamic, delivering an experience that’s as fresh as it is intense. If you’re a veteran Killzone 2 online player looking to mix it up, or if you simply liked wielding these weapons in the single player campaign, Napalm & Cordite is your ticket.     Last night, Infinity Ward revealed the Prestige edition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. You get the game, art book, and night vision goggles. Many wondered what the price would be and we now have an answer. Infinity Ward revealed that the product will retail for $149.99. Also, as a bonus, the original Call of Duty title that comes with this bundle, for PSN and XBLA, will feature full online multiplayer.

    I LOVE GUERILLA!!!!! Source: PS Blog Hello there PlayStation Blog! It’s good to be back. And it’s even better to be back with some exciting news for you guys. There is a new DLC pack incoming, called Napalm & Cordite. It has flames and bolts will fulfill the wishes of many of our weirdest fans. There will be more info on that next week, for now let’s focus on the patch. As with any good DLC, it needs a great patch. We’ve been scouring the forums, stopping and interrogating you in the streets and using futuristic mind-reading technology* to find out what you wanted changed in Killzone 2 and have done our best to try and accommodate that with our patches. So it is time for the latest and greatest update to come to Killzone 2, imaginatively titled: Patch 1.28. (How we come up with these snappy names I’ll never know) So without further ado, here is the official press-release with the list of new features and fixes for you to go through and discuss further. I’ll be hanging around the comments section for a wee while, so feel free to ask any questions you might have regarding the below, or anything Killzone related.

    I downloaded the demo just to try it out first and it's definitely got the same feel to BC. I haven't tried the plane yet, but alot of guys were flying them and crashing all over, so it's probably just as hard to fly as the copter was in BC. I was having fun being the only guy sneaking into the middle of the enemy base and getting all the points. Just like in BC. ;D I might actually buy this one.

    No, you don't connect your pc to PS3, all you have to do us plug an external hard drive into one of the USB ports on the PS3, the plug in the external HD. So there is something in the PS3 XMB menu that starts to back up the entire hard drive? Or do you have to save each file individually? To do a full system backup (this will basically copy ALL of the photos, music, videos and game save files and settings on the PS3 to a backup folder; you will need to have an external usb harddrive or thumbdrive w/enough space on it). Plug it into any free USB. then; In the XMB, go to System Go to Settings > System Settings > Backup Utility Then choose Back Up Finally, pick the device to backup too (memory stick, usb harddrive, etc).

    Try holding down Ctrl and using the scroll wheel on your mouse (If you have one).

    You have to have an external drive, I had to back it up before I sent it in to repair the Blue-ray Drive.
