My dads system is failing hard so i have a question he has a bunch of downloaded games that he doesnt want to lose can he back up the system without using a usb or flashdrive? If someone could help asap it would be greatly appreciated.

Lets say I want to charge the bluetooth on my computer via USB instead of the PS3 b/c I dont wanna leave it on. The ring turns solid red.. does that mean it's charging?

I think I might have posted this a while ago......but some one new might have come along with the answers I'm looking for. I want to run my PS3 through my laptop. I am using SPRINT MOBILE BROADBAND air card. I JUST completed a BANDWIDTH speed test. Here is the results 156.14 kilobits per second, and 19.06 kilobytes per second. I s this sufficiant to support the PS3 online? Or am I just dreaming? I have 3 usb ports and an ehernet port. Any solutions?

I have a Dell Axim X30 Pocket PC and yesterday the damn Docking Port for my computer broke, that was the only means of charging it and well syncing it with my PC unless using Memory Cards which just plain sucks! This damn thing nearly runs my life aside from my Cell. It's my life organizer and I'm kind of dicked without it lol So to make a long story short, I'm looking for another Docking port (USB) but cheaper then the $40 Dell wants to charge me for a new one. Can you help a brother out and find me a good deal on this?! Thanks in advance!

i have my controller and headset plugged int my ps3, and when i plug things into the second or third USB port, either the first or second quits working. it will only recognize two ports at a time, and it doesnt matter which ones. any advice?

Hey everyone.... This is really for those who have the 40G version of the PS3. With only 2 USB ports, I have more than I few things I wouldn't mind having to always switch out here and there whenever I need them. A controller being recharged. A keyboard. A headset. Now this PS3 Eye. Can I successfully use like a USB hub of some sort plugged into one of the USB ports in the PS3 and have that work ALL of the above, simultaneously, without any problems? Is anyone currently doing this? I know when I had the 60G, and it had 4 USB ports, some of them wouldn't work, or I'd have to plug my mic into a certain port but not the others, or the keyboard and the headset wouldn't work if both were plugged in. I don't know. But again....was wondering if anyone here has first-hand knowledge of a multi-USB hub SUCCESSFULLY working on a 40G.

When I'm on Cod my mic is lit up and I think people can hear me but I can't hear anyone. Then if I unplug my mic I can hear everyone on my tv. Does this mean I need a new one?? If anyone knows please tell me. And if I do need a new one should I stick with the usb corded headset or should i go to bluetooth?? If bluetooth do they have ones with a mute?? With my kids and old lady so loud all the time I need to have a mute button. Any info would be great. Thanks ahead of time!!!!

okay, i have the money for it. i have a 30 gig ipod, with the USB cable working fine. i cant download them onto it, i have 24 gigs available on it, BUT i cant download 4 socom maps to it, it says there isnt enough space on it. any ideas/solutions?

Is there a way to delete your current PS3 online name and have a different one? Any help would be appreciated. On the PS3 I can't hear anyone when I plug the headset in, only when it is unplugged. When I do plug it in those playing can hear me. I have set the mic area to usb headset for both options, is there anything else that I can do?

This was a while ago but I remember seeing a video where someone could record ingame mic. So not only recording video and gun effects but someone record people talking during a public room. Anyone know how to do this? My guess is if this was ever made , a USB A Female (which the ps2 mic goes in) comes out to 2 USB a MALE (one for ps2 and one for computer to accompany the capture card). Have you guys ever seen this video, or know how to do it?
